the thing i'll add is: i think people also recognize that hating art and artists is a sign of inhumanity. openly admitting you don't like art is unsettling. it makes you seem like a person who never dreams or has real relationships. feels like the main reason more people don't do it at this point.

fetish seems to be portrayed as an inherently unwholesome desire, because it is beyond your ability to attain it. whereas for trans women, it is an attainable desire. so it wouldn't even be in conflict with the espoused philosophy. i just don't think it's a particularly deep examination of sexuality

while it wouldn't surprise me if it was inspired by agp, he struggled to really say much. most of what was said was about buddhism with the implication that merging two opposites is a false unity. it also has strange implications about gay sexuality coming from a bi guy speaking to a gay man.

It has to be something weird like the Crazy Town album that had Butterfly on it.

Dude is doing the equivalent of using research on syndromic autism to explain nonsyndromic autism. If you don't have all of the other bad symptoms, then it's not syndromic by definition. We would see the other negative effects on a population level if it affected a meaningful amount of trans people.

Is there a preferred social media website where you will announce commission requests? I was refreshing this one for the last fortnight but didn't realise you had posted one on a different website.

topical progesterone is a dermatological treatment, so you might see some benefit from the oral route as well.

at the end of the day, you are policing yourself here. you are only feeding your insecurities by putting this stuff off. i don't think i have ever heard someone having an experience like you are describing. the more you try, the sooner you'll move on.

They've ended up using a sample of 55,000 trans people... Thought you might like to see an example of why someone might use this methodology for benevolent motivations.

They've already applied this method in a trans pay gap study. It also determined that trans women are not overrepresented in the military, but are over four times more overrepresented than even cis men in software development. Harris 2015 gets a footnote even.
