Trump betrayed America and sided with Putin, a murdering imperialist. There is no question that Trump is a functional Russian asset. I stand with Ukraine!

This is gonna piss off some of the people here, but Josh is right

This is insane. If you wonder why some of us think the rule of law is about to fall, it's this. The U.S. Attorney for DC is not "President Trump's lawyer" and its job is not to "protect his leadership" nor prosecute people who "refuse to put America first".

Remarkable assessment by an incoming German chancellor. “for me it is an absolute priority to strengthen Europe as quickly as possible, so that we achieve independence from the US, step by step.” www.dw.com/en/german-el...

United States support for Ukraine was never about securing mineral rights. Or providing security for money. It was about democracy and sovereignty. And a willingness to defend our allies and oppose our enemies. Trump is betraying Ukraine, but also our values. Our history and our legacy.

They hate *non-Tesla* EVs. This will give Musk a monopoly on both charging stations & EVs

Pisses me off that we’re stardust with the gift of conscious existence and having to spend our time on all this bullshit.

Minnesota Senator Tina Smith bringing the thunder 🔥

Leaders of the Social Security Administration had just opened an investigation into a career employee they believed was improperly sharing information with DOGE when Trump elevated the employee this week to acting commissioner www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

US threatens to shut off Starlink if Ukraine doesn’t sign minerals deal. Starlink is essential for Ukraine’s battlefield comms. This is the equivalent of FDR threatening to arm the Nazis if Europe didn’t sign over half its resources. Extortion. And utterly unforgivable. Hell awaits.

Trump/Rubio will not oppose Russian war crimes in Ukraine.

Trump, the Betrayer. Putin's poodle.

Donald Trump lies like a rug. Russia, Russia, Russia has full control of Donald Trump. It could not be more obvious. We are in grave danger.

We are in mortal danger.

Vance took the MAGA circus to Europe and spewed fascist lies at our oldest and surest allies I’m sure that’s how you build American influence

REPOST if you support our federal workforce and know how dedicated they are to their jobs. Show them you appreciate them!

I’ve gone back and forth on this, but I’ve settled on this being rationalization. If they feel they’re in mortal danger there are other options: go public with the threats, resign, anything apart from getting in line. They fall in line because it benefits them and they want to. Simple as.

I guess everyone should have worked harder to prevent Donald Trump from being elected.

If you wanted to know how an autocracy would start in America, it begins by releasing violent thugs from prison who beat up police defending Congress, illegally firing every Inspector General, and seizing billions appropriated by Congress for people with no authority to do so.

A handful of billionaires now have unprecedented control over banking, the food we eat, our healthcare, and the information we receive. Many are now currying favor with Trump to avoid accountability and maintain their power. This is what oligarchy looks like.

Yup. Any institution exhibiting these characteristics is fundamentally broken.

1/ Nice tidbit in a supplemental filing from Nauta & De Oliveria, confirming they realize Judge Cannon lacks jurisdiction to bar release of Special Counsel's report. Of course, she never had jurisdiction over the J6 case & can't bar that part, but she dismissed the MAL case & can't act further on it

Liz Cheney is right again.

This is, or should be, a big deal -- Ann Telnaes, an absolute legend, quitting WaPo due to censorship of a cartoon criticizing billionaires anntelnaes.substack.com/p/why-im-qui...

Spent the day talking to Europeans, and nobody can think of any precedent for what Musk just did to the US Congress. There is no businessman with that much power, the power to stop a routine spending bill, anywhere else in the democratic world.
