How do you plan to put together a win in 2026 with an attitude like that?

Better: "Under the laws enforced by EEOC, it is illegal to discriminate against someone (applicant or employee) because of that person's race, color, religion, sex (including transgender status, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information

I like your definition of Equity. We probably disagree on whether "just and fair" means hiring preference is needed to assure equal outcomes for all groups.

I agree about General Brown. Firing highly qualified Brown and putting in unqualified Caine looks very racist. In addition, Brown had integrity, and Caine was a total Trump bootlicker. For Trump, extreme loyalty is the only qualification.

I do want Black history taught. It should be illegal for an employer to discriminate against a job applicant because of his or her race, color, religion, sex (including transgender status, sexual orientation, and pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information.

Alan, thanks for the advice. I would offer different advice to you. Try to be civil as if we were talking face-to-face. That will make this a better place and different from X.

Well, your suggestion that critical theory is strictly academic is not correct. It was the motivation for Jaime Harrison's self-caricature. Democratic activists bought in 100%.

CRT was being criticized by Barro. From the article: "It’s a worldview that obsessively categorizes people by their demographic characteristics, ranks them according to how “marginalized” (and therefore important) they are because of those characteristics, and favors or disfavors them accordingly."

Getting rid of Critical Race Theory is not the same as supporting bigotry.

Democrats need to abandon identity politics. The problem with Democrats' DEI is not the "D" or the "I." People don't like the "E" because "Equity" means preferences based on identity. The article explains the negative impact on, for example, Asian college applicants.

Trump hates Obama so much that the best thing Obama could do is say he hates Zelensky and Ukraine.

When the president, on every issue, says that he will decide what he is allowed to do under the Constitution and nobody else, every appointee and member of his party obeys because they are either corrupt or afraid of him, and SCOTUS has given him immunity, you have an autocracy.

Two things are true. Trans People have all human rights. Sex never was a social construct in the past and is not now.

Biden should order Garland to release it right now. Biden is immune from prosecution thanks to John Roberts.
