A focus on building unaffordable homes will come at the expense of the #environment. I've just seen 3 trees with tree protection orders condemned by a Planning Inspectorate appeal decision in favour of a developer. It'll enable ONE home c.£500k to be built. Not a solution to the 'housing crisis'.

I usually host several hundred ladybirds in my home office. They sneak in via the sash windows at the top of the house. There are notably fewer this year.

I find it difficult to stomach the denial of proportionate collective responsibility to the well-being of the State that's endemic amongst the richest in society, that handful of very wealthy people who benefit disproportionately from investment in the necessary apparatus of a functioning state.

Shortlisted in our Accelerating Climate Action category is STRAW Plymouth, the grassroots campaign to save the trees in Plymouth's Armada Way. STRAW made good use of our WriteToThem service so supporters could make their feelings known to local councillors. #mySocietyawards
