I keep thinking about the 24 people with measles in TX and that 9 of them were hospitalized. That’s a 37.5% hospitalization rate, which is a HUGE proportion in epidemiological terms. I think the majority of parents would rather their child get a shot than a 1 in 3 chance of hospitalization.

I've been encountering over the past few days the claim that the planet is warming twice as fast as predicted. This is entirely untruthful and unhelpful. The planet is warming AS fast as predicted, which is cause enough for dramatic action. The truth is bad enough!
