...the one being attacked by a bunch of savage war beasts instead of vice-versa; you're being accused of trying to manipulate said war for your own personal gain (among other stupid claims); you're trying to get support and are resisted by idiots who don't care for the suffering of your people, etc.

It would honestly be more authentic to those series to focus on those characters in their world, since that's what I feel the fans actually want to see. That's my take at about quarter past 4 AM.

Plus, that's not getting into all of the idiots who try to pass off AI art as their own artwork, even though it's blatantly obvious that it was done with AI.

For instance, having AI do your homework for you would sound good on paper until it not only does a subpar job, but also has teachers suspicious that it was done with AI, which, as an aside, I feel for the people who actually genuinely write their papers and are accused of cheating because of this.

I started rewatching Terra Nova. An absolute masterpiece, that one. 13 episodes, but they made the most of it.

...piece of a costume that sits right over my groin smell like pee is horribly ironic and unfortunate, and also kind of funny. Either way, I'm glad you got a laugh out of it, at least.

I mean, the situation itself is funny. It wouldn't/won't be funny if people are making fun of me for it, like making accusations that I pissed myself while wearing it (seriously, that would cross me quite substantially), but I agree that the fact that a random combination of materials made a...

Case in point: I was working on a shot that's only 45 frames long (at a project setting of an industry-standard 24 frames per second/FPS, that's effectively two seconds long in actuality), and it took me a few _hours_ to make it.

Rudolph isn't the only Christmas special with this issue, either - A Charlie Brown Christmas sucks for the same reason: minus Linus and I think 1-2 others, every single kid rails on Charlie Brown and at no point does anyone take the time to make a meaningful apology or atone for their behavior.

...are often situations where Characters B and C will have interactions and relationships with Character A, but not with each other, which made me think of how divided the Scooby gang is when you really begin to think about it, as well as how superfluous Daphne really is as a character.

Daphne's contribution to Scooby Doo stories - at least, those that I have seen - is nonexistent, though if there's something I'm missing that SD diehards are aware of, please let me know. I brought this up because was thinking about character dynamics in general, and how in a lot of shows, there...

On one hand, I believe in the Seventy Maxims of Maximally Effective Mercenaries, notably #59 ("Two wrongs is probably not going to be enough"), but that only applies to people who have actually done something wrong - attacking people who not only haven't done anything wrong, but are on your side...

I've typically vibed better with women than men for pretty much my whole life, so seeing women cluster bomb all men to make themselves feel big and/or get attention is royally insulting and hurts like a drop kick to the crotch, in the same way that I get miffed when men put down women for no reason.

Good, so I'm not the only one who picked up on all of the misandry. Granted, I saw plenty of misogyny, which is equally uncool, though I've never seen any sort of social media platform where women are routinely making posts negatively targeting men to the frequency that I saw on Threads.

Can't say I blame you. Whether I permanently delete it or not remains to be seen, but for now, it's staying deactivated and my life is better off without it.

...connections and friends based on my two main things (that is to say, animation and roleplaying games). Oh, that and #cosplay too (please accept this ODST armor selfie as proof of that)!

Oh, and some hashtags for good measure (dropped in a comment since Bluesky has considerably less characters than Threads) - #animation #animatedseries #moho

I'm only slightly extremely out of the loop - how many books are you up to now?

* war crimes WERE. This is why I shifted gears from writing to animation; less editing (well, of my own writing, that is).

What war crimes was he even committing though? It's been a while since I've seen the show in its entirety; all I remember is the flashback in Zuko Alone where he was writing a letter to the rest of his family while attacking Ba Sing Se, and even then, that's just a siege versus executing civilians.

The one showing what happened to him after the sandbenders stole him? That one gets me, especially because it sees the return of the Corporal Hicks of Avatar - Suki, my favorite character - helping him and subsequently getting taken prisoner (off-camera, but shown losing her fight with Azula).
