I'd just like to point out that due to the SAPs that were put into place during neoliberal globalization, developing nations were actually restricted from insulating their societies from American capital. Enforced anti-labour regulations and tax rates to guarantee American business. 1/2

Bc they have ceded to Trump's dominance of their party and, more importantly, society. His relationship w paramilitary groups... J6 looked like an error, but J6, and then full pardons sent a clear message to ntnl politicians that Trump would protect this wing of his support. It was his winning play.

i saw something online that was interesting, its that the christian evangelicals see him as a flawed biblical character like king cyrus, that hes appeared at, yknow, biblical times. thats why they overlook his flaws, its a part of a certain theological element of biblical characters.not too sure tho

Happy to contribute - a constitutional crisis occurs when the legal framework of an entity's constitution actually does not account for a given situation, so a process reaches a dead stop or impasse. If Pence was stopped, there literally would be no way to proceed without ammending legislation first

For example on J6 the plan was to cause a constitutional crisis by preventing Pence from validating the slate of electors, a ceremonial duty of the VP. Pence validated the electors.
