However, it seems the optical sensor only provides the system with pre-processed vectors, and not the raw image, so certain esoteric uses may be limited. It's also tucked away in Handheld Mode. SL and SR aren't able to be quickly remapped like GL and GR, and are unavailable during Mouse Controls/HH.

I have some deep frustrations with the design of the Joy-Con 2 controllers, but the variety of inputs isn't one of them. With an essentially 9-DOF IMU, plus the mousing, you have a LOT of motion data to play with. So far it seems Drag X Drive uses all of them.

We really don't need to excuse the restrictions put upon Jamboree - I'll gladly compliment them for their thorough implementation in games like Bananza, 51 Worldwide Classics, etc. Jamboree goes beyond the mainly hardware limitation driven restrictions on 3DS Download Play. It's arbitrary.

I've been considering buying a Lite for some family members as it happens! I think I've decided to wait and get them full Switch 2 systems, but I'll admit, I was very much nearly in that demographic!
comment in response to post
Jamboree particularly seems more like a proof of concept or even marketing gimmick - it's Nintendo's only Nintendo Switch 2 branded game to receive the functionality. But it's Handheld Mode only, one board, and local only, with restrictions on rules. Like a "get your own copy if you want it proper".

I'm not totally convinced of the value proposition. GameShare doesn't seem like it can push Nintendo Switch unit sales, though provides value for existing owners particularly in multi-system households.

It can be done months or years ahead of launch, as long as there aren't substantive changes to the content. What's far more interesting to me is that this is no longer a provisional rating like it is on the website - typically this wouldn't mean much. Now? It means the game is content complete...

To be clear, puberty blockers are a form of hormone therapy, AND THAT'S OK! It's a complicated picture but me and you both know what's right is listening to kids and medical professionals, not politicians.
comment in response to post
Hormone therapy is part of suicide prevention, for many trans people there is no "before".

How does one end up with one right blue Joy-Con and one left gray Joy-Con It's actually so hard to get either here.

ALLEGED rapist.

I mean the alternative is a rapist, so maybe grow up and don't vote for a rapist?

Maybe stop being so smug about a differently shaped oven, oh my god. People know what they are and how they work. If there HERE, under a Technology Connections post, they probably know his views on airfryers! For some people it suits. However, some ovens really have altered convection for "frying"

Wait a minute, this is an ad on my feed! Wait... I already pay for this! What can I complain about now?!

To be fair he does actually say this and that's kind of myopic of him.

Forever and ever! I would kind of like to get it on Game Cars in a sale just to have a red Game Card.

I'm skipping it for the exact opposite reason!

Billionaires with the legal right to ignore tax laws, fair employment laws, freedom of information laws, data protection laws and more. Diplomatically and legally they are POWERFUL and DANGEROUS. For goodness sake, a(n alleged) child abuser became a COUNSELLOR OF STATE, that's plain wrong.

That's just not true. The GROUNDS of the royal families bring in money, but those are under the care of the civil government in perpetuity and would exist without them. Versailles brings in more money, and costs less, than Buckingham. Monarchy is a dangerous farce, and they ARE billionaires.
comment in response to post
No Kings includes Charles, it's naïve in the extreme to think the royal family have no power. It's naïve to think a king's birthday is good in a democracy.

Also oof sorry for being a bit snappy here, I have a low opinion of the pope and maybe too much worry over the power he wields
comment in response to post
Catholic authority isn't really a thing in the modern world, but the extension of the faith thing is that by being a respected global leader his power grows. Soft power is the name of his one and only game.
comment in response to post
Authority only covers people who actively work in the church, the pope can technically call for a "crusade against poverty" to be done by all people, it would just be a stupid way to phrase a campaign. The pope's authority over Catholics is purely their faith in him.
comment in response to post
I mean the theory would be the Pope could absolutely call on anyone within or even outside Christendom to participate, but they can just not? Like how the Pope decrees an end to poverty to be worked towards regardless of faith, etc. This is more asking "could a modern pope declare war". No.

Disney isn't cool enough to try and force us into a copy-loose future, and I don't want AI winning to be what does. Information yearns to be free, but let's not give MIDJOURNEY the reigns.
