Greenland didn't suddenly open up to Europe because of Trump. The EU woke up and accelerated ongoing negotiations. Whether the threat of the obvious future conflicts with Russian Arctic fleets is taken seriously now, is doubtful unfortunately. It will be paying the last minute price again then.

I agree important public voices deserve scrutiny, esp. those working w/ children, but, you know, critical thinking doesn't break one's journalistic neutrality. On the contrary, you aren't supposed to just place quotes against one another. The article leaves fallacies and allegations unchallenged.
