Football match 1 of 3 this weekend is done, and I'm already exhausted. Tomorrow is going to be tough..

The face of a cat who slept all day and is now ready to rumble right when I want to go to bed

Ok, right, more house search stuff. I hate these louvres, why are they so popular now? They just let all the heat out in winter. Like, the opposite of insulation. And then Aussies complain about it being cold inside. This staircase is like a giant heat chimney. Which is nice in summer, but winter..

This is great, though I do worry these massive undertakings from Inner West Council suck up all available active transport funds and then other, smaller improvements don't get a look in. Most car journeys are less than 2km, so getting good bike infra between houses and shops/schools would be better.

Halsey and Evanescence? This is great! I need a whole album of this collaboration.. open.spotify.com/track/0svd9O...

OK, looking at houses to buy again. There's one that's almost what we want, except the living area is too small for our needs. But then it has a massive garage right next to it. This place is in one of the most walk-able suburbs in Sydney, what a waste of space just for a car.

omg I just got a fancy certificate from the local state MP about our bike bus 😭 She thanked me in parliament, what!! 🤯

If anyone has a spare million dollars so I can buy a house that's worse than the one my parents bought at my age, please let me know.

OK, found it really hard to turn my brain off after the election. It was quite energising to actually feel like you're doing something to maybe make a difference, and be really connected to the local community. Also working on really interesting stuff at work right now, and my brain is just buzzing.

Omg nooo, I totally missed that Fowler did her ACL 😭 The poor thing. She's one of my favs, since she's lived in both my home town and the Netherlands.

Happy Bevrijdingsdag, NL friends

Re-sharing this petition for anyone living within the area. I legit think that having this bridge will convince more people to walk/cycle instead of taking the car. And that's just nicer for everyone: less traffic, less air & noise pollution, more active & healthier population. Pls sign and share!

In my next life I'd like to be reincarnated as Yuki. What a life.

Ghost me is there on the left too ❤️ I really enjoyed my time at TT Games, the render tech team was a great place for me as a junior graphics programmer. Patient teachers from senior devs and leadership, a big custom engine to learn about, ALL of the platforms to learn & debug.

What a weekend, omg. Scored a goal but lost a match. Also put my all into the Greens campaign, who got higher vote percentage in NSW yet lost seats.. At least I know I did my best, at least.

For the first time in a soccer match, I scored a goal today! 🥳 Though we lost the match 2-1, so that's a bit of a bummer.

Big congrats to Hannah Thomas who I was also volunteering for this week. Almost a 6% swing in the prime minister's own electorate, what an achievement! Spoke with her a bit yesterday and she's calm, determined, and passionate. It's only a matter of time until she takes this seat, I'm sure of it.

Also, yeah, super pleased the Libs were crushed, but gosh it would have been nice for a minority Labor/Greens government. Labor need to be pulled to the left, even most of the Labor volunteers I encountered these last few weeks admitted that. #AusPol

Good work Luc, Greens candidate for Sydney. He had the difficult task of taking on Tanya Plibersek, and still managing to gain more votes for the greens than the previous federal election 💪

Uh, my view while waiting for the ferry. Phenomenal 😍

Hell fuck yeah

Alright, volunteering for The Greens all done for the day. Thankfully not very eventful, though somehow accidentally met the Liberal candidate who snuck in just to hand deliver lunch to his singular volunteer, which made him immediately more likeable than his potato boss.

Huh, also TIL all my bike advocacy mates are Greens members too. I had no idea, but I guess I should not be surprised.

Oh I forgot the celebrities live in my suburb, this is interesting on election day.

Alright, time to go wear green and get called a communist all day 💪

Huh, that's cool. If this is possible, why can't the Sydney ferries also be electric? They are also made there in Tasmania.
