If it is any kind of fiction, the work should be completed, but we only ask for a sample to begin with. If itās childrenās nonfiction, it can be a proposal. Please check out the submissions guidelines for more detailed information.

Thanks haha! You and Hannah made that happen though, with your incredible vision for the book series.

Iād love to find my first author/illustrator, preferably for picture books. For more info on PBsāwith an updated section on artācheck out my MSWL link. Some recent PBs I enjoyed are āA Little Like Magic,ā āBig,ā āAloha Everything,ā and āWhere Three Oceans Meet.ā #mswl

Some kind of romantasy or fantasy romance in YA. Standalone preferred but series potential is okay. Would love something without āI must save the worldā type stakes but thereās still a solid plot and conflict #mswl

Iām a sucker for royalty storiesāsecret, just discovered, in hiding, etc. I love contemporaryāthough fantasy and historical are also coolāin YA or MG. An MG childhood favorite is āThe Princess Plot,ā and a recent one is āRed, White & Royal Blueā but for YA. Romance or crushes are encouraged #mswl

Your voice matters. Your stories matter. I believe in the mission of getting books into children's hands that help them see they're not alone. I think the act of writing is an important tool for a lot of us, for self-regulation and survival.
