Organization will be key. Planing out what task need to be done. Then figuring out how long each task should take. Then having a good schedule. These things are truly the foundation of game dev in my opinion.

This looks great! Is it modular or a single mesh?

Very Nice! Keep it up, guys. Looking forward to this!

Thanks for this. Marketing is the skill that seems to elude us creatives—and understandably so.

My team may be veterans in their individual crafts, but we’re all new to game dev, and let me tell you, it’s been one heck of a ride. We’ve learned alot in a year, and still so learning. I’m not saying you need to take a million years before starting your first project, but take it slow. #indiedev

There are so many moving parts, skills, and talents needed to make a game—unless you have a big fat wallet to pay others to do the work for you. Even with Unity and Unreal lowering the barrier to entry, games still require a lot of planning. That’s right—dotting every 'i' and crossing every 't'.

Remember, there’s nothing wrong with self-promotion. We should be proud of our accomplishments. However, humility goes a long way. After all, we can’t find success without the support of our fans. Stay Epic! #indiedev #gamedev

So, the secret to self-promotion is... I don’t know. But I can offer my 2 cents: focus on your audience. After all, they’re the ones who will be interacting with your game. Be transparent and share both the ups and downs of your journey. This makes it feel more about we and less about me.

Of course, this is not easy. It all starts with a clear vision. Ask yourself: What is the goal here that I want the player to achieve? What feeling would I like to evoke? Would I play this? Remember, it’s all about synergy, not dominance. Let me know what you guys think! #indiedev #gamedev

"A few of my favorite games, like Final Fantasy VII Remake and God of War, blend gameplay and narrative into a delicious sauce of awesome. Actions feel meaningful because they serve the story, like a perfectly spinning cog in a machine. It all comes full circle.

Reminds me of the movies in the 70's. I love me some Kungfu. looks good!

We learned a hard lesson about communicating with your animator: have a list. Organization is key! There’s nothing worse than finishing an animation, only for the producer to say, 'do it again.' All I can say is... pray for us! Stay Epic! #indiedev #Gamedev #animation @alejandrosillero.bsky.social

This looks fantastic! Great use of all three tools to achieve this effect.

G – Goal A – Achievement M – Mastery E – Engagement Considering these elements in your design can make any game more enjoyable. The real challenge is finding the right balance. But remember, balance doesn’t mean perfection—because there’s no such thing as a perfect game. Stay Epic!

To answer the question, ‘Am I sharing too much?’ That’s a big, fat no! I think it’s wonderful to see the process, and I’m all for it. Please keep sharing!

I love the game, but I do have my gripes with it. The battle system UI feels a bit too busy for me, and the social links and calendar system seem like a weaker version of what Persona games offer—not as impactful. That said, I still enjoyed the game enough to platinum it.

Respect your players’ time. Design with layers: -Core gameplay for casuals. -Rewards for completionists. -Space for emergent play. Players aren’t adversaries; they’re collaborators. Embrace how they engage (or don’t). Learn, adapt, and evolve.
