@gregcasar.bsky.social: "Elon Musk gets $8 million a day in federal government contracts and subsidies. $65 a day is how much your average senior gets on Social Security just to barely survive on after working their entire life."

15 years ago the Supreme Court decided corporations are people under the First Amendment. Today, billionaire political spending is up 160-fold since that ruling. Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day.

#Boston, are we a sanctuary city, or not? Do we carry on in the manner of the founders who lived here and make good trouble, or not? Do we protect our neighbors, or not? Choose now. Choose wisely.

"On Tyranny" is a #1 NYT bestseller again. I wish the moment were different. But I’m glad the book is useful. And grateful for all the kind words about putting the 20 lessons to work. snyder.substack.com/p/twenty-les...

He didn't stutter.

Are you paying attention, people of #Nevada? This is how your governor thinks of you.

This. This is the thought that will bother me for the rest of my life.

This is why I unsubscribed. The Times is no longer a reliable source for news.

Don’t look at me, I voted for the black lady who didn’t want to burn down our economy.

Tell me you can't do basic math without saying you can't do basic math.

How is this happening.

This is my city. This happened less than a mile from my house - in the brightest blue part of Boston, where my neighbors and colleagues come from all over the world. Where WOMEN come from all over the world to work and live in ways they cannot in their home nations. I am gutted. Utterly gutted.

#Creativity 101: 1) A tiny piece of something gets stuck in your head. 2) Other stuff starts glomming on - suggestions, research - like elements organizing themselves into a molecule. 3) The last little bit drops into place and ... BAM. 4) The persistent "What-If?" levels up. It's an Idea.

I feel that Joe Biden passed a torch to President Obama this way as well. So many white Congressmen his age would have balked or complained, or refused the copilot seat ... but Biden did not. He simply did his job, largely behind the scenes, and treated Obama with respect when he could help.

EVERY BATHROOM in your home is gender diverse. That's it. That's the message. #duh #woke
