We need a new generation of leaders who are the voices of democracy, freedom, social justice, & the rule of law.  A new generation that gives meaning to the “we” in “we the people.” Instead of fretting over Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic Party should embrace him as the future.

Not going to be a sore winner on this or do too much of a victory lap because this is what we *want* governments to do. Listen to their MP’s, listen to their people, and make those U-turns when necessary. And this *was* necessary, I’m glad it happened.

They’re planning on building a detention center for migrants in the middle of the fetid swamps of Florida. If you think this is something new, the first internment camp they sent me and my family to in 1942 was a barbed wire prison called Rohwer. It was located in the swamps of Arkansas.
