so it seems the social media app i use the most is largely dependent on home screen layout i mean it sounds obvious, but the difference is huge-- no wonder every fast food place wants a "real" app instead of a pwa that nobody will manually add to their home screen

nobody would think twice about switching music platforms if took 2 minutes-- if they could carry all their playlists, likes, etc. out the door in a little zip file... but no-- it's gonna have to get worse until a breaking point, like X. and look how many people STILL use that shithole today lol

i noticed an interesting pattern: whenever someone is recommended linux they either complain about having to use a terminal or not being able to play valorant i guess people prefer apps that barely work over using a terminal? but regarding valorant and such: don't blame linux for being secure
