"If you'd told me just three months ago that these were the words of the US president, I would have laughed out loud."

Even the Russians can't believe their luck. Trump is a disgrace 😡

One contract is $400M for armored Tesla trucks... however, when the public started complaining about Musk receiving the contract they scrubbed "Tesla" from the documents. Now they just say armored EV trucks

Kind of like how he replied "😂" and retweeted this post about Doge being a big joke just 6 months ago and now it's "dismantling the U.S. government."

The Maverick was the last cowboy. I didn't agree with his views, but he had a spine and that's respectable trait compared to these shit burrowing worms today

And after what's transpired over the past several days and Trump's tweet, he better watch his back even more carefully now. God help him

Musk could have invited a reputable Dem to join Doge for fairness and transparency purposes since, after all, this housecleaning is for ALL taxpaying Americans, right? But he didn't and he won't. And 99.9% of the "fraud" and waste Doge is allegedly finding, Musk blames on the Left in tweets on X

This is what happens when we don't mandate those principles from leaders. And what does that say about us? Just as children are said to be a reflection of their parents, elected leaders are a reflection of a nation. Makes me shudder when I think about how far we've regressed in just a few decades

Isn't AI constantly learning though? If so it shouldn't it become more accurate and efficient with time?

Some patriot. He's literally posting laughing emojis about how Doge was just a big joke 6 months ago and now it's "dismantling the government"

Never thought I'd agree with anything that comes out of Bannon's mouth. But he's right about Musk.
Here's Musk just a few minutes ago retweeting a post that talks about how 6 months ago Doge was a joke and now it's "dismantling the government" -- and Musk adds a laughing emoji

💯 every single one of them would love nothing more than for Trump to remain in office until he croaks... and then a successor to reign beyond that. Elections are nothing more than an annoying inconvenience that allows Dems to get voted in and force feed their "woke" agenda. 2028 will be interesting

Yes, but the technology is still basically in its infancy. Advances are being made, Google's new quantum chip is allegedly hundreds of times more energy efficient than a typical super computer.

I was just being facetious lol. There's one a few blocks from my house. I've taken my kids there to encourage them to read books, hoping they would realize their own imaginations are far better than any Xbox graphics. Unfortunately, they haven't shown much interest if it's not instant gratification

This has been an issue with technology in general long before AI. Three was a time when we all committed at least a dozen of the most important 7-10 digit telephone numbers to memory. Now, we're lucky to remember our own cell number. Everyone else is a contact.

Well obviously it depends on the task. I threw the 5 min:3 hr ratio out there because you mentioned brick and mortar library (do they still exist? Lol).
I work in the legal field and tested having AI draft a simple motion. I gave it a few basic facts and cited the procedural rule and was amazed....

They've already been pulling out their phones and going for Google for years though lol
comment in response to

It's not just the nature of the answer - it's the speed at which it is found or that a task is performed.
Remember that in the business world, no matter the profession, time=$. If it only takes 5 mins to solve a problem using AI that would typically take 3 hrs, efficiency is going to win every time

Criticizing Mark for being a billionaire is silly. Any one of us would welcome his wealth so stop the bs!
Here's reality: for good or bad, AI is here to stay and its uses are only going to expand. He's simply encouraging people to learn ways to harness it to our advantage. Evolve and find success

Glad people are starting to notice the lack of evidence backing his fraud claims. It's always some graph or a chart that they create followed by a Musk post on X asserting it as fact. Where is the hard evidence? Where is the so called transparency? Even the Doge site keeps moving the release dates

💯 I work in the legal field and have used AI to research topics only to find that it completely misinterpreted a source or sources when providing it's analysis. ALWAYS verify and fact check

The several resignations at the DOJ over the dismissal of the case against the NYC Mayor provide a glimmer of hope that there are people who refuse to put politics over their oath. But make no mistake - Trump has swiftly installed loyalists in every nook and cranny in the offices that enforce law
comment in response to

Contempt proceedings could be initiated, but the judiciary would still need law enforcement personnel to enforce its orders. Otherwise, it's just paper.
comment in response to

The pending lawsuits against Doge are the only things that can potentially stop the madness - so long as Trump's Feds comply with any court orders or injunctions. If they don't, it'll be complete anarchy in the USA
comment in response to
post
Who is going to arrest? The FBI, DOJ, etc. are all headed by Trump loyalists. And if anyone on a state or local level tries to stand in Doge's way, they will be prosecuted by Trump's Feds. No local law enforcement will oppose Doge

I didn't get an email. I got a notification straight on the app, letting me know my account was "flagged" and would be restricted in certain aspects. And all I did was talk smack about Trump and Musk - nothing worse than what both of them have done toward anyone left-aligned. Yet I get suppressed 🙄

💯 I logged into my old X account the other day and it's just a big sounding board to regurgitate right wing propoganda. And the vibe is so negative it reminds me of the flow of pink slime under NYC in Ghostbusters II that fed off everyone's negativity.

True, but SM platforms is what propelled Trump to the top this time. SM is where people are at its the new frontier. And Dems are wayyy behind when it comes to overall presence and finding constructive ways to reach people there. Musk and the silicon valley billionaire club seized upon it for Trump
