my sister has a 7x7 L-shaped planter that she's not using and offered it to me. and I'm going to buy a 8x2' planter for the perennials. plus the 3 raised beds I already have. plus whatever is leftover in the in-ground beds.

still left to do:
- start cosmos
- start a second tray of indigo from the seed I saved last year
- direct sow the sunflowers
- build 2-3? extra raised beds (convince brother to build 2-3 beds)

I also direct seeded coreopsis and bachelor buttons. mildly worried it was too early but I couldn't help myself.

honestly brilliant and I'm glad I didn't figure it out and spoil it. i just assumed the keyboard was on and didn't think to press the switch

lmao, the tv didn't work and they kept saying "mom says "j has permission" into the keyboard and then it works". i told my SIL that it didn't work for us and she burst out laughing. She says that into the keyboard while switching the on/off button, so the boys think it can't turn it on without her

I let them get pop at dinner *and* candy from 7-11 after. campaign for best aunt continues.
(also it's spring break and they couldn't even finish a whole can of pop)

(we couldn't get the tv to work) they also spent all of dinner describing minecraft.

I think it's the arts vs crafts. with some things I do I just follow a pattern and while it's creative, it's never felt artistic. but dyeing and spinning feels more like art than craft, maybe? I don't know really.

i want to make my sewing room closet doors into a gigantic pin board/quilt design wall, but i only want one panel? maybe? or should just get plain sliding closet doors and cover them in foam and fabric
