Me too; both the confection and the band.

I think the young 'uns nowadays use the expression, "hard agree". x

Oh, I missed the song because I was so taken with the picture. I remember listening to "The Distance", over and over, many years ago. That's a doubly delicious post!

Phwoar and not just a slice of sponge; proper posh cake, that. πŸ˜‹

It's so long since I first did that joke, they've changed the name to "Alphabetti Numberetti".

Oh bugger, am I late? To commemorate your special date? You're a skilled phlebotomist, who often works at night and a talented linguist (I think I spelled those right). There's a lot to celebrate, while your cat sleeps in the grate. 😸 Happy birthday, Niall! πŸŽ‚πŸΎπŸŽˆ

Haha. Coffee will always make things better. Enjoy! β˜•

Morning, Russ. How are you? 😊

I'm very well, thanks. It's a blustery day in North Wales but yesterday was lovely and the forecast's good for tomorrow and Tuesday. There's a definite feel of spring in the air, which makes me happy. How are you?

Aww, cute! Morning, you two!

No, you haven't, Mr. Wombat! There are so many positive things about you, not least your kindness to others. Get yourself a nice, strong cup of tea or coffee and take it easy, if you can. x

I think I remember you looking at a house in the country a while back. It had a septic tank sewerage system and we talked about it because we had one at the time. Still do, in this different house. Good luck with the move. Hope all goes well for you.

No one would expect you to be coping well, Ali. You've been so strong throughout Andy's illness and the shock of his passing will take time to process and to cope with. Take your time, lean on whoever you can for support and look after yourself and your girls. Love to you. x

Haha. Oh well, glad she's a bit brighter today and I hope all your cats adapt to the new feeding regime. They'll miss their snacks at first, I expect but it's all for a good cause. Good luck!

Poor Betty. Hope she gets better soon. She's not a chunk, she's cuddly. 😼 Sending positive vibes your way. X

Me too!

Well, I never knew that and it's a good 'un an' all. 😊

Aww, love to Betty. Hope she's okay. x

That will be so welcome. So long as you stay away from the scary dramas on telly. πŸ˜‰

Well, that's a much better quality of life for her and that's what we aim to give them, isn't it? Fingers crossed she continues to feel calm and settled, bless her.

Is that you then, Nick? The "People Selling Mirrors" one?

I saw some of your posts about it. Pets are such a worry, aren't they? But not now, phew! Anyway, they're worth it. ❀️

Haha, sounds like you've got the perfect combination of children there. Lovely! X

Ooh, that sounds good! Aw, there's such a lot of stress on young people, bless her. As you say, though, that's one big thing out of the way and a successful result, so will take some of the pressure off. x

It takes time to fully hit you, doesn't it? Those moments when you momentarily forget can floor you when the realisation kicks in. Despite the bitter sweet moment, congratulations to your eldest and hope you can celebrate the good times while treasuring happy memories of your Mum & Dad. x

Ah no, we all feel apprehensive at times and it's completely understandable. *Hands you your big girl pants, just in case you need them*

Good luck, Sue! Sometimes the thought of these things is worse than the actual thing, if that makes sense. x

Yes, he's really likeable and enthusiastic; seems a lovely bloke. He's a talented musician, too, which I'm sure you know if you're a fan.

Fabulous article. Really enjoyed that.

Oh yes, I love him. He's here on Bluesky but I expect you knew that.

I know! It was such a perfectly innocent remark. πŸ˜‰
