Could have begun already, but cosmic distances being what they are, and the speed of light being actually pretty slow, it might take billions of years to reach earth.

Trump is good for business. How would your revenue streams be performing without him? Another four more years would be a marvelous no?

Firebombing churches and synagogues soon to follow.

Which is just what they want. They’re throwing as much sh*t at the wall to see how much will stick. They’re hoping we throw our hands up in despair trying to stop them and clean up. They smeared sh*t on the walls of the capital jan6. This is a continuation of that.

We’ve been begging dems to stop playing nice for years now. All we get is hand wringing and Chuck Schumer penning a strongly worded letter. The dem leadership still don’t understand what’s going on. The few dems who have fire for the fight are too junior to overcome the inertia.

It seems they did not. It had to be explained to them later. Only then did the fake outrage commence.

Has this been confirmed?

A significant number for sure. FAFO. I’m reminded a lot of agents are Mormon. How long before Mormons will be targeted? And Muslims, LGBTQ, registered democrats, Hispanic and African Americans. I’ll laugh in the face of any trump supporter in those groups. Fk them. Sorry for those who knew better.

A well deserved FAFO.

An impotent performative gesture. As always. It’s not just Bernie it’s the entire dem establishment. Schumer is drafting some strongly worded letters too. They’ve been so effective in the past so why not? 🙄

Seems pretty obvious the destruction of medicine and Medicare is to maximize the death rate of unproductive elderly and disabled. Encouraging a new pandemic will hasten the process too.

Nothing would surprise me at this point, except if he did something constructive

Or at least hoping one is assassinated to use it as a pretext to declare martial law.

This time she’s happy he is potus again. Her financial prospects have improved immeasurably.

Chicken of the Tree? I’ve never tried them, but I understand some Wood-Ear mushrooms are edible and delicious.

I fear the destruction of the economy, the infliction of hardship to come and the resulting social unrest will be the pretext for suspending the constitution, ending democracy and rule of law and the imposition of full bore fascism. “Only I can fix it.” MAGA morons like this will cheer.

No you don’t. Like all media, you want just what is occurring for page views, engagement, and advertising. What would you have to faux outrage about to attract an audience with out dumph.

All but stating outright democracy is dead, that bezos and the post helped end it and storytelling is more important than factual investigative journalism.

Sure Jan. And Roe v Wade is settled law.

This stuck with me from Poirot in Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express is that when your values are under attack is the time to hold them even higher. I take that to mean if one abandons them when they’re tested then they were never really your values. Once abandoned you’ve lost.

If the constitution is not enforced in this case then it is a mere piece of paper with some scribbling on it. It will not be enforced. It has been discarded by our govmt. Sorry but America is over people.

It may be too late. They have all 3 branches and distain for the constitution and democracy. States will be gerrymandered to the nth degree and election fraud normalized making it impossible to elect dems no matter the turnout. The midterms will be just for show.

So Republicans haven't voted to raise $7.25 per hour minimum wage since 2009 & $2.13 tipped minimum wage since 1991. If minimum wage kept pace with growth, it'd be over $26.00;per hour. Why do people think they'll do anything about grocery prices?

I fear it’ll be far worse than any “analyst” predicts. The guard rails are completely off this round. My prediction, which is based a little on history but mostly on my feelings, so not worth much, is there’ll be a worldwide depression by the time midterms roll around. They’ll be cancelled too.

In the new year you’re going to see so many liberal personalities normalizing Trump and creating permission structures for the white middle class not to worry about the cruelty and instead prioritize their own financial well-being. It’s been going for awhile, but it’s about to pick up.

The chaos has already begun and tfg hasn’t even been sworn in. It’s going to be a complete disaster and a lot of pain for the 99%. Maga getting their comeuppance offers some lovely schadenfreude, but doesn’t compensate for the pain I’m also going to be feeling. I’m filled with dread for the future.

I’d say not to abandon it but hold it even higher. To be woke is to be all you list and to be for the best of America. To be woke is to live Superman’s credo. To be for Truth, Justice and the American way. That needs to be proudly affirmed. Don’t let bullies get their way. Be proud to be woke.

It’s not the voters but the vote counters that matter. Assuming midterms occur.

You’d think they’d see the light having shoved fluorescent lights up their butts where their heads are located.

I wonder if a struggle for power between musk and thiel is about to begin. Unlike thiel, who seems to prefer remaining in the shadows, musks narcissism demands he strut about displaying his influence. Thiel wants to be the power behind Vance once trump is removed. Musk wants it all for himself.

Am I complicating it by thinking Brittany has been marking up the $10 pineapples by 20% selling them to joe public for $12. Now because of the tariff she pays $12 adds her 20% markup so joe public pays $14.40.

And all so very predictable. RW legacy propaganda will tell them what to think on behalf of the oligarchy. At least they’ll try, but RW grifters have a lot of sway too. Looking for a payday to fall in line perhaps?

I just asked where has he and his pet Vance gone? They’ve been missing from the news while Elmo goose steps around.

Yup. And not your friend. Re: many dems praised for Liz Cheney and announcied they’d vote for her for potus if she were running. She might be opposed to tfg but supported and voted for his and the gops heinous policies. She made sure Clarence and Ginny faced no consequence from the j6 committee.

I dunno. I enjoy listening to podcasts or lectures or music and sometimes silence while driving. It’s an opportunity to chill. So long as the drive is safe and uneventful.

Yeah well, he’s doing well profiting from that himself.

So it’s a battle? A battle between two differing factions of the same movement for control? In other words, a maga civil war.
