Impressive and well-deserved win for Wakefield this afternoon. Two decent victories and the games they've lost have been competitive. They'll worry a lot of teams this season. #RugbyLeague

First real test for Saints tonight and they fell well short. Sure a few key decisions went KR's way, but they were the better team overall and deserved the win. #RugbyLeague

Sailor has been impressive so far this season but sadly tonight he's been anonymous in attack and a liability in defence. #RugbyLeague

That decision to award KR a penalty in the run up to their second try was shocking. Lewis failed to play the ball properly, plain and simple. Even worse, given the referee had previously penalized Feldt for not playing the ball correctly in a very similar incident. #RugbyLeague

What's with this studio for the #LasVegas #RugbyLeague on #SkySports? It looks like no one's told Jenna Brooks, Jon Wilkin and Sam Tomkins that the need for social distancing is gone. Either that or they've paid for a bigger studio for the occasion and are determined to use every inch of it.

Good result there for Saints - a potentially tricky away fixture against a decent Wakefield side. Just as importantly, they are back to being fun to watch. #RugbyLeague

Based on the demo alone, Adventures of a Cat in Space from @tallstorygames.bsky.social already has a strong chance of being one of my favourite games of 2025... ...although I do now have that earworm theme tune stuck in my head! Just go and wishlist it now. store.steampowered.com/app/3265960/...

That backheel from Tristan Sailor was outrageous! #RugbyLeague

Not often you'll hear this but the best performance of #SuperLeague round one was by the referees. They let games flow, applied rules sensibly & didn't spoil games by inflexibly enforcing new rules. Special mention to Liam Moore for his excellent reffing of Wigan v Leigh More of the same please!

The #SuperLeague+ app is horrible. It randomly logs you out mid-match & gives a bad gateway error or says all servers are busy, try again later. If you log in on a different device, it will let you. This afternoon, I've used 4 different devices just to watch 1 game - hardly practical #RugbyLeague

I'm a Saints fan, but this farce of a game does the sport absolutely no favours at all. #RugbyLeague

Anyone else's #SuperLeague+ crash in the crucial last few minutes of the #Leeds ##Wakefield match? Mine did 😥

If you enjoy #RugbyLeague, Rugby League on TV is genuinely one of the most useful websites around for keeping up with where games are broadcast. No idea who runs it, but thank you! www.rugbyleagueontv.com

This #RugbyLeague game just underlines the madness of Golden Point. Both teams have played well, both teams deserve a point. There's nothing wrong with a draw.

I'll admit my heart sank a little when I saw a lengthy article on Capcom fighting games in the latest issue of @retrogamermag.bsky.social as it's never been one of my favourite genres. As ever, I needn't have worried as they found an angle to appeal to both fans and non-fans of fighting games.

Wonder if Leigh Leopards will actually bother to turn up for the massively over-hyped "Battle of the Borough" against Wigan tomorrow night, or whether they'll roll over like meek kittens as they've done in all previous meetings? #RugbyLeague #SuperLeague

The legendary @stinkyox.bsky.social is remaking I, Robot and it looks fantastic. www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgN3...

After a pathetic showing in the #SuperLeague at St. Helens, Waqa Blake looks like he might at least be adequate in the #RugbyLeague Championship. Great, well-deserved win for Bradford and a brave fightback by Castleford. Game of the round by a mile #ChallengeCup

Watching Bradford v Castleford in the #RugbyLeague #ChallengeCup feels like you've gone back in time 20 years to when Bradford were a top side and Castleford weren't. Cracking game and the only one this round that vindicates the RFL's decision to make the big clubs all play away.

E loves the books of @cressidacowell.bsky.social so much, she had a How to Train Your Dragon themed birthday party!

Dino Crisis 1 and 2 available on @gogcom.bsky.social? Less than £10 each, you say? Well, it would be rude not to.

Wow! What an incredible win for Goole Vikings over London Broncos in their first ever competitive game. Ok, London are a shadow of their former selves, but I still expected them to bring it home. Shame #BBC Sport can't be bothered reporting it in their website, even though they televised it...

No phone network all day Thursday thanks to Three UK; no power since 11:30pm last night thanks to Storm Eowyn. It's like being back in the 70s 😂

Great to see #RugbyLeague back on #TheSportsman YouTube this afternoon. Their coverage might not be as slick as Sky's, but it's decent with good commentary by people who actually talk about what's happening (how revolutionary!). Best of all, it's free so you don't have to pay Sky's obscene prices.

Playing Broken Sword 3 again for the first time since it was first released. The graphics have aged really badly in comparison to the more cartoon style of the first two titles. Just shows how sometimes following the latest fad is not always the best idea!

I'm really enjoying Jedi Survivor on the PS4, but it's probably the first game I've played where it was obviously written for a more powerful console, then downgraded for the last generation. Would still rather play an imperfect version, though, rather than miss out altogether.

The makers of Sonic 3 should be ashamed of themselves for their total lack of realism... No-one in the world has EVER correctly inserted a USB stick on their first attempt 🤣

Watched Sonic 3 today. Was pleasantly surprised after being disappointed by Sonic 2. Good fun, with plenty of action to keep younger viewers entertained and plenty of in-jokes for adults (blowing on a USB stick to make it work was a particular favourite!)

Whilst it's fantastic to see the inspirational Rob Burrow once again breaking through into the mainstream media, you'd have thought the @radiotimes.bsky.social would at least get his name right. #RugbyLeague

I'd forgotten how good Broken Sword II is - it's a loooong time since I last played it. Started playing at 5am today, looked at the clock a bit later to discover almost three hours had vanished. Always the sign of a good game when it makes you lose track of time.
