I think we've seen two nasty tackles go unpunished in the last 24 hours. That one by Holroyd and the very obvious crusher tackle last night. Both could have caused serious injury and it's astonishing that both were reviewed and cleared of any immediate further action

Can definitely recommend DuckDuckGo. I've been using it for a good few years now, and always found it great

Even then, I didn't get to watch the whole game as the server error booted me out on my final device 15 minutes before the end and refused to let me log back in again on any device.
So glad I paid £109 for this.

I take it back @jimcam73.bsky.social. Great game and deserved victory (though personally I don't like Golden Point extra time and think there's nothing wrong with a draw)

But true... 😁
2024
Lost 28-6
Lost 40-12
Lost 24-6
Lost 38-0
2023
Lost 6-34
Lost 44-18
Lost 6-10
With the exception of the Round 27 game in 2023, they haven't even come close (and I say this as a Saints fan who is desperate for them to beat Wigan every time 😜)

I know this is heresy, but I'll defend it to the day I die: I've always preferred Revolution's games (particularly the Broken Sword series) - the puzzles are a bit less obtuse and the humour a bit more subtle.
Both series are great, though.

Like, I suspect, many people of our "vintage", I look back fondly on the hours spent in WH Smiths, and back when I was a kid getting a Smith's voucher for birthday and Christmas was a genuine thrill.
Sadly, it lost it's way a long time ago and no longer seems to know what it's actually trying to be

I have to say, Indiana Jones and the Log Burner sounds like a distinctly underwhelming title for the new film 😂

Regular auto saves are really important for me - my time for gaming is so limited, I can't spend ages wandering around looking for a save point before I can quit.
Also the ability to skip cutscenes (or at least move the dialogue on by pressing a button)
All critical things for time poor gamers.

My goal is to post regularly to Bluesky. Although I was on The Other Site for around 10 years, I only posted infrequently (and then mostly replies to other people's posts)
Of course, I haven't defined "regularly", so it's a pretty low bar to meet!

Increasingly rarely. I've still got an account but only really use it now to contact companies who haven't yet jumped to Bluesky.

This was a no-win situation. If IT people had done nothing and systems had collapsed, everyone would have criticised them for doing nothing.
Because they spent months and lots of cash fixing the problem before anything happened, they'd just been scaremongering.

Don't know how much truth there is in this, but I once read an article which said when people today boast they are multitasking, they aren't really. They are just doing 5 things badly, rather than 1 thing well.

I suspect it's been "written" using AI-found "facts" giving a massive US bias where consoles had an earlier impact
I had a C64 up to about 1990 then Amigas until about 1995. All my friends followed a similar pattern
Don't think I even saw a console until my nieces got a megadrive in the early 90s

Those Ultimate games always felt so special. The packaging, the graphics - it just felt streets ahead of everyone else.
