Unbelievable. There’s a whole range of AAPE!?
Are they trying to be edgy? Or are they actually targeting the grimmest of demographics? What the actual fuck.
Add this to the list of accidental predictions from Charlie Brooker. The PM with the pig etc.

My 3 year old doesn’t use the word ‘football’… he just thinks the entire sport is called Mo Salah! “Shall we put the Mo Salah on the telly?” 😅

Yeah, probably when the fixtures come out he’ll pick one of those formations to run with for the first block. I trust Slot and Wirtz to make it work. We only spend big when there’s a clear plan.

The opposition will see his name on the team sheet but won’t know where he’s going to play, that’s so dangerous. 😁

I think a big part of Slot’s aim is to be unpredictable. We don’t want to stick to one formation.
If we do 424 with two 10s, Wirtz could be perfect.
If we do 433 he can play in the front 3 against good teams, and as one of the midfielders when we need to push for a goal.
He also enables a 451.

Lots of people are trying to do pieces saying “Wirtz will play here” but I think part of why he’s a perfect player for us is he’s versatile and allows us to do loads of different set ups tactically. 😎

“The TAW?” TAW. The AW? Damn it, I know I’ll have set off pedantic Adam there 😁

Robbie Scotcher is probably my favourite of the opposition fans who come on the TAW. It would be great if you did a ‘What Football Means To Me’ episode with him as a follow up to their cup triumph. 😎

I think Sturridge left in the summer of 2019 but he’s welcome anyway because he’s pure vibesss

I also wonder if the Ballon D’Or jury will decide the Club World Cup matters… 🫤

Dembele winning the league and UCL double would probably still beat Salah unfortunately.
But the other short odds are all Barca players.

Yeah, I think the “achieved everything” is the key there. Arguably the only thing left to do at Liverpool would be become the captain. It feels like that’s what he’s weighed up — new La Liga experiences over succeeding Van Dijk. Both intense! I can imagine making that choice from his perspective.

He said himself that titles mean more to him at Liverpool than elsewhere. I guess that’s why we hoped he might stay. www.fourfourtwo.com/news/trent-a...

Ultimately the fact is he’s still won the lot with us, unlike those comparisons.
It should count for more, having seen those scenes.
But he’s ticking off medals like his life is a video game.
I think he leaves as a top 50 player for us. He had the potential to be a top 10 all-timer.

Gutted we don’t get to see Liverpool test themselves against Barca this season.
PSG vs Barca could be an incredible CL final to watch. 🤞
