In light of everything happening, I wrote about how the KKK in the 1920s felt unstoppable, about the people that fought against them anyway, and about how fascism always fails. dansinker.com/posts/202…

Prepping my Tomb of Annihilation game for this week, drinkin' black coffee, listening to the folk music of my generation...

Yall better be drinking water

Although "Straight business" sounds like what someone says right before they get audited.

I've been able to brush off most of the erasure of trans people from government websites, but this one is REALLY getting under my skin. It's just complete revisionist history. How fucking dare they Old vs. new

If you want to understand how we got here, you have to understand Christian Nationalism. It's the permission structure that justifies all of this harm and hate in the minds of so many Americans. Here's a reading list to get you started: bookshop.org/lists/unders...

If Disney/Marvel doesn't do this in the new MCU, then what are we doing as a species?

This energy.

Good morning.

Mourning the loss of my fairly new Switch controller. It fell and the right joystick probably cracked the circuit board underneath. Ironic that I bought the controller specifically because its joysticks were anti-drift. I request the public to respect my privacy at this time.

Yesterday's Tomb of Annihilation session taught me a larger battle doesn't always make for better combat, especially when it's the middle of the ocean on wreckage that prevented players and creatures from hitting each other. #DungeonsAndDragons #TTRPG

Ziggy sings the song of his people.

Cassandra Peterson and Paul Reubens are two of my idols. The fact that they were both kept in the closet for a lifetime by a culture that was beneath them is so infuriating and heartbreaking.

Ziggy saw the doggy eye doctor today. His cataract surgery is going to cost 8k. I want him to see squirrels again. I'll be stress playing Astroneer today.

I almost never share memes, but when I do, they're Good Omens.

You won't believe this. My team and I make this show called SciShow that works hard to be rigorous and accurate while also being appealing and entertaining. We reach a LOT of people every year with episodes about crabs and neutrinos and gender and cancer and vaccines. It's great, I love it.

30% done with setting up my notes in Obsidian for my Tomb of Annihilation game. This helps me integrate my players' characters into the story more cohesively. The story is about *them* after all. But ToA has a *crazy* amount of NPCs and locations. Holy hell. #DnD #DungeonsAndDragons #TTRPG

It is so surreal to see what has happened with D&D. I remember being threatened with physical violence just for playing it.

I can hear this gif.

My DM binder. I’m starting Tomb of Annihilation tomorrow with a new group. Wish them luck.

Happy New Year, I guess.

I think Astroneer has replaced Minecraft completely. #NintendoSwitch

D&D Beyond is stupid and makes no sense. My partner wants to play a tabaxi in my campaign and she'll have to pay $30 to unlock it on D&DB.

I took Ziggy to see Santa when he was younger. He took a massive shit while in line and probably thought I was abandoning him to the man in red.
