Adding "paid attention to the needs of my children" would have really twisted the knife.

Now That's What I Call Trailerized Hits, Vol. 1
The end of episode 6 had me laughing like crazy.

It's generally a good system. But I've noticed that in practice, it's just preset tuning for HDR10, Dolby Vision, whatever. Apple TV+ always ends up with a mode that turns on smoothing, IIRC. Generally, I just turn on filmmaker mode.

My TV chooses image modes based on source. Normally does great with no smoothing, but every now and then... Makes me want to puke.

Just offered an amendment that would block all cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and the ACA. Not a single one of you will be surprised to hear that Republicans blocked it.

I'm glad my country lost after Trump's stupid fucking pep talk.

I have liked all of them so far. I don't drink this stuff much, but this makes me want to buy more.

That said, I'm buying it because I'm a sicko who gives in easily.

They are. I used to help organize group orders with makers, resulting in occasional deals and freebies.

Back when I was really into this, Carmina made me a custom fit pair of shell cordovan wingtips at like an $800 discount. They're incredible.

I had a pair a million years ago. I have lots of sizing issues. English shoes always seem to fit me best, otherwise, I need custom fit. So a lot of my stuff is used or on sale in case the fit is off.

It WAS emphasized in school that I should wear shoes.

They haven't seen it with their own eyes, so they think these stories are just more lies that morons who read communist newspapers believe.

I see plenty of them in local Facebook groups who straight up say bird flu isn't real. It's another hoax that THEY are perpetrating on us.

I interviewed there ages ago. Greg had major bad vibes in 2002. It was downhill from Thor, who seemed like a principled guy.

Central Command? Are they fucking kidding?

This is a fair point, but I respectfully disagree. I actually think the US is capable of it, but a confluence of administrative, bureaucratic, and cultural factors mean we tend to reset any progress once or twice per year.

A very strong conclusion I took from working for the Army and then Central Command is that the United States is probably peerless in the air and conventional war and can hold FOBs almost anywhere. But we are constitutionally incapable of winning protracted counterinsurgency.

Alek Skarlatos down in my area screwed up big time running for state legislature. If he'd run for Congress and lost again, he probably could have gotten a political appointment in DC like other PNW Republican losers.

Can't stand her. Unfortunately, none of these nominees are expected to do their jobs at all. This is just the patronage system for Republican losers at work. They never have to go back to public life, they keep getting to be parasites on the public or donors' dimes.

I assume they're going to make another run at selling off the BPA. It makes money! It sells power cheap! Rates in Oregon are through the roof because private companies have been so cavalier with fire safety. The last thing we need is for them to run generation too.

These are 2.7" x 4" vinyl matte and were $123 for 200. But they get MUCH cheaper at larger quantities.

I had these printed and am just handing them out. I used StickerApp because I was trying to get them quickly, relatively inexpensively, and from a non-chud printer (which I assume is the case for them as they're in Sweden).
