I haven't worked with clay in a long while, but I remember the process of wedging. When you cut a piece of clay off the block, it is hard and not ready to be shaped. You wouldn't think it has a bunch of air bubbles in it because it looks like a solid hunk of material, but it does.

Flight delay due to flow control at DCA. The airport also has a curfew. If we don’t make it, we gotta go to Dulles. And these people lobbied for MORE flights to go in an out of that airport. And that man wants to fire many of the air traffic controllers. We live in the Twilight Zone.
