I haven't worked with clay in a long while, but I remember the process of wedging. When you cut a piece of clay off the block, it is hard and not ready to be shaped. You wouldn't think it has a bunch of air bubbles in it because it looks like a solid hunk of material, but it does.

Flight delay due to flow control at DCA. The airport also has a curfew. If we don’t make it, we gotta go to Dulles. And these people lobbied for MORE flights to go in an out of that airport. And that man wants to fire many of the air traffic controllers. We live in the Twilight Zone.

Driving around my area, I've noticed some curious things about the T*slas on the road. A lot of owners have removed the logo from their cars wherever possible. One driver had the logo intact and a number sticker saying, "I bought it before he became a fascist a-hole."

We worked for months with USAID to build an $85,000,000 project to end TB in two regions of the Philippines. The project is funded by private money, the Philippine government, and matching USAID funds. It could provide a blueprint for eliminating TB worldwide--except it's...not happening.

I live near the Potomac and can see the planes descending as they come up the river. Sometimes they'll even fly overhead as I'm walking the dog, which he really enjoys. It was eerie to see an empty sky this morning. This sucks.

It's way too early for conjecture, but Senator Moran said he personally lobbied AA to add this very flight to its schedule. I remember the serious and vocal objections to adding flights to DCA because of the already-crowded airspace and flight path constraints. Remembering that makes this harder.
