While this is true and does help, a huge swath of Republican (and even some independent voters) either have no empathy or a very limited and warped version of it. You can show them horrors caused in the name of Jesus and they’ll hand you a flyer to come to their church.

I’ve always been, and still a little, confused about how antisemitism is being framed in Trump 2.0. They’re so hyper focusing on “protecting Jews” from either make-believe or vaguely there mega threats while also being antisemitic themselves, I.e Elon and Bannon giving the Nazi salute.
