We had a crazy MAGA guy on our school board for awhile that would show up to meetings in a tux and sunglasses. I thought he was just drunk. This makes sense now. He caused so much trouble that the superintendent told schools to call the police if he ever showed up again.

Much to our 8 year old’s horror, we’re trying to see which vaccines we can get her early. It is getting ridiculous.

And nothing changed. If anything, things got worse because now anyone can kill a protestor and get pardoned.

During the BLM protests, multiple people were permanently injured by Austin police firing “less lethal” rounds, people on both sides carried guns, and someone deliberately drove into the crowd, then shot someone trying to stop him. Guy got pardoned by the governor.

The new switch game? My 8 year old daughter is obsessed. She’s also thrilled because it’s one of the first games that her friends are playing. Zelda tears of the kingdom (unsurprisingly) not big among 2nd grade girls.

I mean, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs et al are pretty well known for stealing ideas and products. The difference between them and Elon is that they were smart to begin with and knew what they were selling. Elon just has money. TBH no one would know how dumb he is if he wasn’t so arrogant.

I think the entire situation just makes it clear what a fraud Elon is. It’s all stolen valor. He wants to be seen as a tech mogul and innovator, even though he just bought companies. SQL is so basic and fundamental to tech and anyone supposedly pouring over data.

I can’t believe I know more about SQL than… wait, I CAN believe it. Our country is going to go down in flames because of a guy that thinks “DOGE” is funny.

I feel like this is completely missing that the CFPB was coming after FinTechs, which have been left largely unregulated under current legislation. The CFPB was poised to go after ApplePay and Musk’s new venture with Visa.

Ding ding ding! Like Apple Pay and Elon’s newest partnership with Visa.

Elon is probably Epstein’s best protege in that regard. People always forget that controlled repopulation was Epstein’s master plan.

Just because they’re partnered with him for a project doesn’t mean he’s running the company. I assure you that there are a lot of cogs in the wheel of running ecommerce - it’s more than just Shopify involved. Out all those companies, there is bound to be one that doesn’t want to be associated.

Are they processing Visa/mastercard/AMEX? Because card brands generally have stricter policies on hate speech.

The CFPB does not handle redlining cases - the DOJ does. CFPB will take part in redlining cases. Not saying redlining cases will continue, just saying it’s not solely the CFPB’s job.

In finance. Was at a conference in December and outside the bros, most folks were significantly concerned about the upcoming volatility. Nobody was excited about this administration. Because anyone who actually understands the economy would not be.

I feel like the vast majority of Americans do not realize how much they have benefitted from the CFPB. Remember how insane credit card and banking fees used to be?
