I mean you have Elon Musk running on stage with a chainsaw mocking the thousands of people he just laid off. What an evil thing to do. What a creep, what a jerk. Like who derives joy from that?

Delusional, I wouldn’t want him negotiating on my behalf either.

I think the UK will stick with our own Tempest programme, but thank you !

That’s a run and hide strategy. Currently the D’s have now endorsed the CR and everything in it. We need the R’s to own every bit of the devastation they cause so the American people feel it and never vote for this again.

And only for 30 days

America is now a sinking ship with a captain that continues to smash more and more holes in its hull. Soon it will be an unrecognisable wreck at the bottom of an ocean of hate that is unsalvageable. Soo very sad, but America voted for this and only the voters can fix it.

And you 30 days reprieve while Russia gets to re arm. Sounds like an amazing good deal that only one useful idiot could do.

He’s an Idiot!

OMG they are soo loud! That’s terrifying. I do hope you get a fair peace deal and lasting support to rebuild your lives from this hell.

This won’t end well!

I’m sure it will be opening up a new Moscow real estate opportunity for US grifters to further exploit. I don’t see the US delegation negotiation on behalf of anyone but themselves. Sad 😔

No credibility left, what a schmuck !

Until then I pray for you and everyone that has to live through these times. Be safe.

I would expect that would need congressional approval and it would make more than just Rubio squirm in their seats. However there is already rumours of shared satellite intelligence with Russia so maybe not that far fetched.

I wonder how America reacts in these so called negotiations when Russia baulks at the new European military buildup. Will America do yet another 180 and tell Europe to stand down? Who would trust Trump to be a backstop after all he’s said and done?
comment in response to post
So while America emboldens and validates Russian aggression it cripples Ukraine’s negotiating position while simultaneously backing away from Europe security guarantees. As the world rushes to rearm, including nukes, under this new world order, we are all far less safe than we were 6 weeks ago.

Sadly it’s very likely a smoke screen.

Is there any line the President cannot now cross with his new impunity powers from the SCOTUS? Are there any safeguards left? Could he for instance direct the military to fire on protestors?

Who says it has to be proportionate, when you attack your neighbour your reap what you sow. Trust is never rebuilt. The best part is people will just stop consuming American products altogether making the impact permanent.

Wracking my brain to figure out why this is soo important to him, unless he intends to side with Russia and try to carve up Europe. Does Europe now need a military base in Greenland as it builds out its defence strategy? US is not behaving as an ally anymore.

Old news, you’ve now moved to malalign Russian asset to be sidelined by your once allies.

I sold 50% of my 401k stocks back in November. Wish I’d sold all of it - we are only headed lower with this disastrous regime.

And the rest of the world should spend far less time worrying about Trump and his version of America. Cut and run, plenty more partners in the world, let’s spend more time rebuilding the UK, Europe & commonwealth economies!
