I really like the gameplay mechanic changes they made. Felt a lot tenser throughout while never feeling too unfair or impossible. Issue myself and a lot of people I talked to saw in the first was their was a point where dice rolls sorta became trivial, this wasn't as present as quickly in 2 imo

I try to imagine the civil rights movement being successful while some mouth breather yelled “it’ll never work” at the bus boycott, the lunch counter sit-ins, the marches, the letters sent from jail. It all mattered and all worked in the end.
