This has been the soundtrack for my life since I started tracking it

Gonna try to keep up with people here more and post personal stuff/art that makes more sense for an actual social network. Have avoided it because of vibes and also not having the following I do on twitter but there are people I care about here and I don't have to worry so much about deboosting.

I really hate being the kind of person who panics that she's dying every time she gets tired without expecting it. Sometimes it even happens just because I'm too aware while falling asleep. 🙃

😭 I lost my brilliant streak because I have been feeling pretty down for a few days and got distracted one problem from finishing it yesterday. This was almost twice my previous streak...

"On the heights of despair, the passion for the absurd is the only thing that can still throw a demonic light on chaos." - Emil Cioran

The committee for homeland security meeting on drones is crazy. The FBI has 500k earmarked for the Counter-UAS task force and the CBP has none. There were 2500 airspace incursions at the border this year. Also, these fucking Congressmen say stupid shit and arent paying attention, just being mad.

@hankgreen.bsky.social has the energy we need right now. We have achieved great things. We did it because of love. We are not evil. youtu.be/FcbtkVTAyqM?...

I'm going back over tool use now that I have my RAG plugin for Obsidian closer to where I want it to be. I did not realize that you could use HF Spaces as prebuilt tools in Transformers. This is an insanely good idea that I need to try out, could accelerate agent design a lot.

I recorded a setup video for my Obsidian plugin (and Flask server) that has PDF and markdown indexing with the byaldia/ragatouille libraries from @bclavie.bsky.social. It allows you to deselect irrelevant pages/chunks before sending to Claude (for now). Repos below. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpvQ...

This is the only thing I'll post from wrapped this year and I'm gonna try to be less of a Spotify shill (though it is good for artists to have stats there 😔) but I've been waiting to see where I stand in the ranking of Bladee listeners for a while.

Instrumental Interlude: www.youtube.com/playlist?lis... (with visuals) soundcloud.com/rhizonymph/s... (without) Just some stuff I made that I feel like needs to go out as is. Mostly experimenting with production and audioreactive art techniques.

Lmao Peysoh didnt event know he made it on GNX until it dropped and people were blowing him up. Tell em Peysoh did it! youtu.be/YPhod7uvgXQ?...

Kendrick made me realize I've been fucking slacking on my rap. This year had new Soulo, Ka, Elucid, Mach Hommy, Lupe Fiasco, and Navy Blue that I haven't even listened to once. No wonder it's been hard to write lyrics lately, time to fix that shit.

I made my first shirt this morning! Krita design printed onto heat transfer paper and cut out with a Cricut and ironed on.

open data model social networks are designed… to have open data models. that’s the point, it’s what allows decentralization and prevents data fiefdoms.

Current events are a completely necessary part of creating a permissionless protocol with open data standards. Do you want to lick the boot of centralized companies that will charge you for your own data and sell it to AI trainers anyway, or an ecosystem of decentralized apps built on ATProto?

Lately I've decided to stop slacking on the Rust and have been reading some good stuff: - tokio.rs/tokio/tutorial (duh) - github.com/pretzelhamme... - github.com/pretzelhamme... - github.com/pretzelhamme... - ryhl.io/blog/async-w... - blog.dureuill.net/articles/don...

Who's a must-follow here? Going to go through the people I respect highly and see who they follow but that's bound to miss some people doing a 1 deep breadth first search. Hm.. would be neat to be able to see my local graph view and use that to manage follows.

Basically, I've been avoiding this place for reasons relating to denying parts of myself because of the confrontation with The Other. I'm going to stop that. I am a unique and beautiful multiplicity that deserves to shine brightly in all spaces I care about.

Realizing I also don't post a lot of what I'm thinking about here because I've been studying intents and cryptography to think about what the technological improvements in the crypto ecosystem mean for the future of app design everywhere. The dream is so close to being possible, the time is now.

I need to formulate my arguments for things I care about (like why Bsky is a genuine improvement over X) better instead of fumbling my words during the conversation and slinking away when I get anxious or upset because I feel like I've lost control of the conversation.

Realized lately that I haven't been posting my art here because I get nervous about being harassed for using AI (even though it's only like 20% of my workflows now) so I'm gonna change that soon. Block me if you want, but AI is what got me back into traditional art in a way I hadn't since childhood.

Just when I think I can take a break and listen to an audiobook, boom the dispensary plays wacced out murals while I'm buying my weed and suddenly I'm listening to the whole album while I walk the streets smoking.

Most people who I see talk about their experience onboarding here mention coming across a lot of porn they don't want to see. You can't really look for art on here without coming across it. Not saying it shouldn't be here, but you should have to find it tbh.

New Kendrick album goes hard, I've listened to it 3 times already

Sometimes I wonder how people that follow me on here without knowing me from twitter or discord actually find me. I find it hard to believe I'm on a starter pack or something when I've barely posted.

To be honest if it's wrong, I don't want to be right. I don't wanna talk if you're not gonna talk to me nice. youtu.be/vcAp4nmTZCA?...

Understanding the legal mechanisms of control is important. If there is one thing that we must do, it is pay attention. We must not turn our backs to the darkness and let it take us. I'm glad I'm somewhere I don't expect any of this to get enforced by the state/city governments, hope you are too.
