Things I follow to curb the existential dread (but also because I love them) - books, books, books but also sports: cycling 🚴‍♀️(visma | lease a bike) , formula 1 🏎️ (ferrari + 16), football ⚽️ (liverpool fc) , tennis 🎾. Swiftie.

On the contrary, whenever I choose to sleep and not watch a race, Ferrari always end up doing some shit (Australia 23, Vegas 24, now this).
Although Australia 25 was also the quintessential Ferrari-in-the-rain experience - but at least they had some points (the bar is underground).

Also I thought Pog would follow the pattern (4-3 in 2023-2024) and finish second

Everyday I get more and more disillusioned with F1. I am actually shocked at the callousness of all 3 of them, one of whom is the GPDA director. Absolutely shameful. The only reason they can say this is because they got lucky nothing happened yesterday

Riding within himself - Gall is a pure climber, it stands to reason he would attack on the steepest part. Matteo is doing the right thing.

He’s 3 seconds behind, what’s the point of telling him he’s free to race now?
God I hate this team.

On the other hand, I don’t really need to know Charles is 5 seconds behind Russell

That’s good to know, there wasn’t a lot of time between reports that he’d crashed and reports that he’d rejoined the peloton so I wasn’t sure (but of course that was just race center updates so probably not the most accurate, timing wise)

He looks absolutely shattered, don’t know how he managed to finish at all, and as well as he did

Yeah I wondered about that, because this is probably not a situation to put Nunez in, given where his troubles generally lie. Very strange.

Yup for sure but maybe he was worried Nunez would be more in his head than usual as one of the last pen takers. Didn’t work out either way.

Didn’t have much choice with injuries and cards, I suppose.
Oh well, on to the next.
