I’m stunned that you weren’t referring to Jericho lol. It’ll take time for Cole to find his footing ( no pun intended). When he came back from injury in 2023 it took him a while to get going.

I think 2021 was peak AEW all the way through. For me the start of 2022 is when things shifted for the worst even though there have been up and downs. I agree with you on Jericho. He needs to take some time off and come back for presumably the final stretch of his AEW career.

The core of my problem with it is that there is too much older and former WWE talent taking most of the tv time and storylines. It sounds harsh but I think it’s a mistake bringing those wrestlers in.
