On my way back from the great Inside No 9 at the Wyndham's theatre this. Plenty of tears (and screams) of laughter to be had. @reece-shearsmith.bsky.social and @sjpemberton.bsky.social were as fantastic as ever.

My Switch and PlayStation unwrapped have just confirmed I've barely touched those consoles this year, bar 1 game each. Tidal hasn't done one yet for my music. But Steam has finally delivered one that finally says something.

The new Indiana Jones game lets you heal with biscotti! The combat is so delightfully silly too. Machine Games have done such a good job of capturing the spirit of the films.

December is here, so I'm ready to full embrace the Christmas season. Starting to plan what films I will need to watch. What's on everyone's list? These are on mine:

Game Awards noms always have a lot of repetition, but looks especially bad this year. Not exactly a good showing of the huge breadth of gaming that is available these days (not that these awards ever are). www.eurogamer.net/astro-bot-fi...

Today is the 30th anniversary of Star Trek Generations being released in cinemas (US, UK release was in early 1995). youtu.be/KxVyLLHLmz4?...

Finished Agatha All Along and was surprised just how good it was. Even managed to nail the landing pretty well, something Wandavision failed with. The highlight has to be any time Aubrey Plaza cackled.

First Christmas supermarket lunch. A Tesco Ho-Ho Hog Pulled Pork & Apple Slaw. Nice amount of pork, but too dry. No real apple flavour. 4/10

Introduce yourself with four movies:

Spent last night with the dangers of workplace relationships in the new Alan Wake 2: The Lake House. Spooky fun for spooky month, although it misses the usual fun from Remedy's games. Needed more musical numbers performed by a fictional metal band and David Harewood. youtu.be/uxs_HYw_mLk?...

"Return of the sausages" - sounds like another of those Brexit bonus I keep hearing about. youtu.be/m4OaWee8bxs?...

Back from seeing some old space film on the big screen. It was called Star Wars. Don't know if anyone knows it. Pretty good. I hope that Luke and Leia get together in the sequels. They make a cute couple.

Just watched Aftersun. Wow! Transfixed throughout. Simple, but beautiful film. Such a mix of emotions, joy, sadness, delight, regret and even a bit of dread. "It's nice that we share the same sky"
