Oh, if we are doing locations then the MEN arena.

"The Inland Revenue" although that's dying out I think.

When Rosie goes to stay with my parents after a couple of days she will only eat sitting on my Dad's lap, being hand fed prices of kibble with chicken liver pate spread on them. "Otherwise she won't eat". The little monster is a world class manipulator.

AI replica of the back of Harry's head reacting to AI replica of the front of John Lithgrows head.

"Where is Mr Potter?" *suspiciously deeply voice* "I'm here professor, I'm just wearing the invisibility cloak again." "Miss Granger?" "Remember the bit where i accidentally took a polyjuice potion and turned into a cgi cat? Well I stay like this for the rest of the season"
comment in response to post
I seriously think they will start splitting books into different seasons.

It's Harry just watching DVDs of the films.

I mean at this level a fluke Reform/LD/Lab/Con is just a matter of time.

Pretending you are American is all fun and games until you get GDPRd.

His first general election campaign as a member of the Cabient/Shadow cabient was 2024. If your wondering why he seemed so bad as it.

"We need you to drive this truck outside this airport." "Oh my God, I'm responsible for launching the drone swarm?" "LMFAO fuck no, you are misdirection sacrifice number 1,834."

Decimated might be putting it mildly!

"You were in the OTC six weeks a decage ago? Brilliant, well it's Spring 1915, here are your men Captain."

I'd guess that a big chunk of the people who have an issue with the Union Jack also have an issue with "Royal" regiment also.
comment in response to post
How different is that to the Royal Regiment of Scotland, which is all in on Scotish icons.

I did have a conversation with a colleague and *twice* during the conversation I realised that we were just both discussing a peice in the FT we had read over the weekend.

And that scene is RTD explicitly making the future dependant on the past.

It was a nice touch to have her help pull 15 out of 14 in the 60th. It's weird to think how 05/10 almost works completely independently as a new show, where as 23- is unambiguously a continuation.

"Recommended for you, The Eternals" How rude. (I actually thought Eternals was fun, but it was also like the 3rd time I'd been to the cinema in 2 years so i was mostly just happy to be there)

Blue Labour relentlessly explaining that Labours core vote of people who haven't voted Labour since 2005 are not being given enough attention.

There are a *lot* of things wrong with the Westminster system. But "the party that wins an election gets to tax and spend how it likes" is not one of them.
comment in response to post
Also, your job isn't to "build a coalition" you're just a guy on social media not the Chair of the democratic party. You should be allowed to call people hypocritics if you think they are hypocritics without worrying what it's going to do in the Virginia governors race or some shit.

For former PMs Brown and Major are well above average. Thinking about it, May and Cameron also. Even Blair, Boris and Sunak are significantly above the mean. Politics Liz, who lives in cave & tweets made stufc over 10,000 each day, is an outlier and should not have been counted

Sean Astin in the Two Towers explaining how he definitely didn't lose his temper when Andy Serkis accidently pulled his wig off, versus everyone else clearly implying that he lost his shit.

I agree, I think it maybe just wasn't given enough space this time?

I mean hell, that's what GRRM did in Dance With Dragons! He then did a little interview about how the battle of Meeren would be the opening of the next book, which is already mostly written and will be on shelves soon. 15 years ago...

The fact that they transparently moved the ending of season 2 into the start of season 3, and now can't make season 3, is a sign that something is very, very wrong.

"Vastly outnumbered by nato powers" hmmm, I wonder why that doesn't seem as reassuring as it did before January?

"A war footing, but with lower NI rates than in 2023." Doesn't seem to achievable.
comment in response to post
And using rhetoric that is completely separated from the actions you are taking. A once in a generation security crisis, but we're keeping both of Hunts NI cuts just doesn't make sense.

The Financial "benifit" surely can't be worth the outrage it causes in Wales?

i'm not being funny but do you utter fucking freaks know which party introduced the Equality Act
comment in response to post
Not a joke by the way. They clearly are putting themselves before the party, and that road goes to one destination.
comment in response to post
We should just skip to the part where 2 or 3 of them jump to reform in 2027, and get obliterated in 28.
comment in response to post
Eh, I think it would have been crisis no matter what. Viewing figures are down across the board. But it's a very different crisis when it costs 1/2m an episode vs 10m.
comment in response to post
Which was great

(Also the wheelchair rockets scene was hilariously *old* doctor who)
comment in response to post
Mentioning Doctor Who. The production quality has never been better. And it is in crisis.
comment in response to post
It's kind of funny because I think unless you have those exact specific brain worms *hard right policy, pretending it is communist* just pisses off everyone.
comment in response to post
650m is *insane* though right? Like I'm sure there are well loved BBC tv shows that didn't cost that much over their entire run.
comment in response to post
It's like when you are having an argument with someone on immigration, and after lots of time arguing with them, they say "immigration is to high, we should just do x policy" and x policy is something May implemented in 2012. You just wish they'd opening with that and it could have saved you time.

Doesn't Boris have a similar story from when he was mayor.

Imagine thinking that the political situation for the government would improve after the Royal Navy drowns a few dozen civilians.
