At the very least can we have a Bumble and Snug book where they have to resolve issues with a kaiju? It’s everything I want!

That’s great to hear. I loved it and thought a good half of my class would, but turns out they’re all obsessed with it. They were so excited when I told them that book 2 would be out before they left year 6.

So pleased to hear it and glad I didn’t recommend a dud! Such a fantastic series and definitely brilliant value for money.

It’s definitely a big hit with some of my less enthused or engaged readers because they can re read it and have great fun with it again, which in turn builds a real sense of accomplishment for them.

I just started the series in the summer and could easily see why it’s so popular. So much to love about it.

There is lots of KS1 in the padlet. Key ones would be Bumble and Snug, Owly, Apple of my pie, Pea bee and Jay, Hilda, Peanut butter and crackers.

This is still highly sought after in year 6 despite being out for a few months. Absolute gold.

Sometimes, but my main focus would be on whether I believed that author might actually have read the book or if they seemed genuine about it. Too many who it seems have been asked for one so that their name can help sell the book rather than they genuinely loved it.

I mean I’m not mad if you want to continue it. Those eyes have me desperate to read the next page!

I’ve been recommended this so many times and for whatever reason I still haven’t got round to reading it. Really need to bump it up my list as it’s always so highly talked about.

I’m basically bullying myself into reading!

I was the same and then kept seeing other people’s book buying and end of year lists, so just ended up getting all the ones I liked the look of from those.

So it’s related to the 90s cartoon and is meant to be very much in that tone. I’ve only flicked through but I’m hopeful for it. There’s another volume coming out soon so could end being another series to continue!

In that case liquid swords by Gza is a must try too. Those albums made me go from anti rap to finding the small pocket I enjoyed.

I look forward to digging into it. It seemed to completely slip by me and then seen a lot of people saying it was one of the best books they read this year. Couldn’t resist once it was in my hand!

We were fuming at multiple sets of fireworks going off so close to our housing estate, some idiot started them about 5 pm! I’m sure everyone could enjoy the new year without colourful explosions!

There has been some come out the past year or two that felt like they were just made to try and cash in. Even kids pick up on those though and they’re the ones that aren’t loved. Feels like a few celebrity authors are appearing in the market too all of a sudden.
