Doctor Who Magazine Issue 135 - April 1988. Season 24 director Chris Clough has some sage advice for #DoctorWho fans of all eras...

DOCTOR WHO SPOILERS. I think it's worth bearing in mind that the TARDIS has always 'assisted' with regeneration - and that the watch containing the Fugitive Doctor's memories is now buried somewhere deep within its heart... #DoctorWho

First motor test of the Hachette Dalek build. #DoctorWho

Doctor Who completely knocking it out of the galactic park again this morning. Absolute madness machine. That was Hugo-worthy! And that surprise...! And that one...! Suddenly everything is possible...! #DoctorWho

Please head over to the @cabaretvscancer.bsky.social 2025 Sci-Fi Online Auction after you've had a Friday drink and bid lots on money on cool #DoctorWho stuff...! (Other sci-fi franchises are also available.) www.jumblebee.co.uk/scifi2025

The baseboard of the Dapol console room was designed so that the pull-back-and-go K9 could whizz round on it. (Yes - I am having a very productive day, thank you.) #DoctorWho

Here's my Dapol console room - along with the initial wave of figures. (Dammit - I've just realised that I could have got Richard Gauntlett to sign the Tetrap at Spearhead Live the other day...!) #DoctorWho

The REAL news in DWM 134 could be found on the back page. The first announcement of the #DoctorWho range from Dapol…! These pictures all appear to be of early prototypes - K9 has no ears, the police box has no door sign, and the console has no buttons - but they’re still all beautiful beyond reason!

Gallifrey Guardian in DWM 134 (March 1988) is mostly about Ian Levine making a nuisance of himself. Plus ça change… #DoctorWho

Just want to remind everyone that the 1988 ‘Build the TARDIS’ book is actually part of the Target range, and so technically no #DoctorWho Target collection is officially complete without it.

On to DWM 133… This is a slightly odd period for the mag - where Gallifrey Guardian seems more interested in salacious tabloid tittle-tattle than actual news about #DoctorWho…

Richard Briers is absolutely fine in Part 4 of Paradise Towers. How exactly is one SUPPOSED to play a recently resurrected evil inhabiting a corpse…?! #DoctorWho

The cover of Doctor Who Magazine 132 is the visible personification of absolute perfection. #DoctorWho

Happiness will prevail... keep an eye out for more info soon.

Doctor Who Magazine 131 Letters Page - cover dated December 1987. Reassuring to know that some things never change... #DoctorWho

Prophetic words from Richard Marson concerning Bonnie Langford's departure from #DoctorWho in DWM 131. It would take another 36 years, but... yes...!

Never mind that the brand new Season 24 was transmitting on BBC1 - DWM 131 chose to lead Gallifrey Guardian with news of... Wendy Padbury's divorce...!!! #DoctorWho

Nice to see Omega out and about at the Met Gala.

The McCoy title sequence still gives me goose bumps every damn time! I know that some people are critical of it, but as a child of the McCoy era I'm completely incapable of seeing it as anything other than beautiful and brilliant! #DoctorWho

Your good deed today is to share this post. It's the 2025 Sci-Fi and Fantasy Auction, raising funds for @cabaretvscancer.bsky.social. Simply share, and then go on with your day - knowing that you've done a little something to help in the fight against cancer! Thank you! www.jumblebee.co.uk/scifi2025

Nice! #DoctorWho

It's that time of year again! The @cabaretvscancer.bsky.social Sci-Fi and Fantasy Online auction is now LIVE! It’s their biggest ever auction, with 105 items, covering #DoctorWho, #StarTrek, #Marvel and MUCH more. (Including that other one that people like - Space Wars or something...?)

Sway from yesterday's glorious 'Spearhead Live IV' event at Wood Norton. Congrats to @cygnusalphaevents.bsky.social for a splendid sunny day! #DoctorWho

Peter and Janet on stage at today's excellent 'Spearhead Live 4' event from @cygnusalphaevents.bsky.social. #DoctorWho #SpearheadLive2025

NEW DOCTOR WHO FACT. The famous shower room at Wood Norton - used by Jon Pertwee in Spearhead from Space - now houses a litter tray belonging to this cat called Zeus. #DoctorWho

Had to ACTUALLY watch #DoctorWho at 8AM - before heading off to a convention. (We didn't trust that we could get through the day without being spoiled.) I was a bit nonplussed by the beginning - but then when the first twist kicked in it turned into a proper thrill-ride.

Our annual shower picture at Wood Norton. #DoctorWho

We’re here, we’re queer, we like The Hand of Fear. #DoctorWho @cygnusalphaevents.bsky.social

New acquisition! I've coveted this poster since 1988...! It was a Doctor Who Magazine item - but one that had to be sent off for from an offer in Issue 140 - which wasn't the sort of thing that one did as a nine year old. One came up on eBay the other day and FINALLY it is mine! #DoctorWho

I have written a Cyber-feature on fan-films for this forthcoming special publication from the makers of Doctor Who Magazine. It's another deluxe bookazine job. (Is it a book? Is it a magazine? Nobody knows!) #DoctorWho Available to pre-order now: www.panini.co.uk/shp_gbr_en/d...

Oh good lord. No spoilers - but Carole Ann Ford just broke my heart. @dominicjgm.bsky.social @lisabowerman.bsky.social @bigfinish.bsky.social #DoctorWho

I really enjoy these reaction pieces from @blogtorwho.bsky.social. They are important time capsules! #DoctorWho
