Bloody hell Jim, where do you find the time? Another absolute banger. Now do I extend my policy of buying music on formats I can't actually listen to to 7 inch singles? I think we all know the answer to that one!

Hopefully not still teaching?

See you in Skeggy Jim. The first thing I highlighted once the stage times were released!

Discovering that he was only 78 has given me a rude awakening to my own mortality. In my mind, Kelly was an old man when he was presenting Going for Gold but if he stopped hosting it on '97 he was, in fact, younger than I am now for almost it's entire run 😬

Fair. Even that beats the good old days of waiting for the relevant page on Ceefax to roll around 😂

Yeah but, as an exile who doesn't get to many games, I miss the updates during matches

I'm not trying to enforce anything sweetheart. Just hoping for a day soon where I can finally delete that awful app as updates from the Vale are the only thing keeping me there now.

Do you think Vale should stop posting on Xitter or at the very least mirror the content on here so that we no longer need to visit the Nazi-adjacent tech-bro hellsite?

Any chance of bringing the rest of the club's content to Bsky? Especially the live match updates. Really want to delete the Twitter app but as an exile I still depend on it on match days 😔

The only thing I've learnt from this halftime show is that the too-long, flared jeans I wore as a student back in the 90s appear to be fashionable again

Cowboys fan here (long story) so very much in the same boat!

Well if you're gonna make history with the three-peat you might as well make it a back from the death comeback too?

Jeremy Strong for Dunkin' Donuts is my commercials MVP so far

Would love to see that idea adopted for the FA Cup Final. For example, Alan Davies hyping up Arsenal with Stephen Graham responding for Liverpool

That actually made me tear up a bit at the end despite the fact that, in common with Lt Cmdr Kerans, I am NOT a cat man.

Haha. Wait until you find out about the Jokerless challenge!

And if someone had told you that we'd still be playing it two console generations later you'd have thought they were nuts!

I found some of them made me think about the game in a totally different way but the last few are pure evil. I don't even want to think about how many hours the last couple took me!

Have you tried any of the challenge decks yet?

Had a similar reaction when I discovered that I'm older than the the new Spurs keeper's dad...

This seems like an excellent opportunity to mention that the vinyl package is absolutely gorgeous. It's a pleasure to support a band who put so much effort in to elevating the 'product' to such a level. Thank you!

Nice work but I come for your crown: I solved today’s #Gisnep in 01:22. 🎉 Think you can do better? No. 41 | 17 September 2024 gisnep.com

Woop! Woop! I will proceed with the purchase! 😂

Indeed. I'm in the middle of buying a house in the constituency. Might pull out if they don't do the right thing!

So pleased about this. He's been stinking up our football club (Port Vale) for far too long despite having no connection to the club or area whatsoever. I hope I never seen his gurning face again!

It'd be fucking hilarious for sure but I'm not sure I'd trust *any* party to use a majority that big wisely?

Now find me a way of forcing "new" Outlook to open attachments in the associated desktop app rather than the godawful online Office package. Please?

Been saying for years that the Cowboys are the Arsenal of the NFL. Proving it again here

I second all of this. Wonderful story-telling that wrong foots you at every turn (if you take Dan's advice and go in blind)

Lovely to see you here. I only arrived earlier today myself so still feels a bit like the first day at big school!
