I'm expecting something similar to happen in the US in the near future. Advanced Data Protection is one of the best security features Apple has ever released. It's a shame they are choosing to bend the knee instead of fighting for what they supposedly believe in.

I'm calling this now, the iPhone 16e is a preview of future iPhone pricing, due to tariffs. I really believe this device was intended to launch at $499, but Apple went with $599 to test consumer reaction to a higher number.
