Keep up the visible association of #TSLA with Nazi Musk. No one of good conscience should go near a Tesla product. #TeslaTakedown

Minnesota is leading the way on combatting climate change, and we’re creating clean energy jobs in the process. www.startribune.com/xcel-says-it...

Take a guess what the consistent demographic of the flipped birds and two folks who pulled over to harass? And the folks who pulled over only felt emboldened enough to do it after crowd was dissipating.

Hey @alexwinter.com, help make this guy Internet famous. Pulled over to harass the tail end of Madison’s TeslaTakedown…while driving a USPS semi-truck. We’ve been in touch with USPS and his FAFO is probably beginning.

Final sign preparation happening as we get ready to head over to Madison’s TeslaTakedown. The Seybold Road facility is a service and delivery center. But let’s see what we can do and get some anti-Musk momentum going in Madison. Www.teslatakedown.com

If you’re looking for something concrete you can do, give money to Susan Crawford in Wisconsin who is about to get hit with a ton of Musk Bucks. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/20/u...

Worst. Episode. EVER.

Not an exaggeration. We are living through a geopolitical earthquake and the future of the planet depends on people recognizing that and, sadly, that the United States government is no longer on the side of democracy, the rule of law, the international order, progress, security or decency.

Should you sell your Tesla? Should you stop using “X?” Should gov'ts stop supporting Starlink or Space X? Yes. Failing to do so empowers those who are actively trying to destroy our democracy & who are hurting the most vulnerable in our society and around the world. open.substack.com/pub/davidrot...

I couldn’t agree more. And one of the reasons I don’t see a middle ground between authoritarian rule and an outbreak of political violence of uncertain outcome.

I think the most wrong I have ever been as a political scientist was when I said in a public forum in 2020 that there would not be political violence in the US (Jan 6 was 2 mos later). Tonight’s purges are a clear precursor to more future such violence. This is textbook authoritarian abuse stuff.

It would be a shame if Tesla charging stations ended up the focus of activists who recognize them as the soft infrastructure targets they are.

This is climate arson, yes, but also the entire value proposition of Tesla, the reason for its insane stock price, is that it would end up the Amazon of electric cars: the only real game in town. Killing off non-Tesla electric car infrastructure is a gift to Musk.

I helped run a race that had Grothman scared. He’s got so many vulnerabilities but somehow floats mostly under the radar. I wanted to basically call him out for the freak he is. I lost battle to consultants. They went with medicare. This is a tough district but keep it up.

This is very, very bad. Am working on a write-up, but let’s just say that firing military leaders for blatantly political reasons is wildly inappropriate; firing all the too lawyers is ominous; firing them all at the same time is a terrifying five-alarm fire

Democrats should go to all these ruby red and vulnerable GOP districts where voters are upset at Trump and Musk and court them. Full court press.

Medicaid is not for sale. NASA is not for sale. The Post Office is not for sale. America is not for sale. We have an obligation to resist kings. We outnumber them. And they can be overwhelmed.

Tonight we’re in a suite as the Badger’s Men’s Hockey team takes it to Notre Dame. Tonight, only one outcome is acceptable. Go Badgers!

Rare to see someone confront Trump in person. "We’ll see you in court,” Maine Gov. Janet Mills told Trump. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

We got a good hockey game. Congratulations Canada. Enjoy it.

I'm sorry but I'm just not going to be cowering in fear of these clowns. They suck and they are cruel but they are not God.

More of this. The fuck are you doing promoting a book when the country is falling apart?

The richest man in the world being handed all of the trappings of public office, with zero accountability

Got mixed feelings about this game. Typically, go USA! But I know that the win will be a bigger deal to our friends up North who could use it. So, I am agnostic. Here’s hoping it is a good game of hockey.

Took a little mid-afternoon work break to enjoy the closing window for outdoor ice in Madison. Great way to clear the head.

Extraordinary story the Wall Street Journal. X is threatening advertisers that if they don’t spend more, Elon Musk will use his influence in government to block company mergers. That’s extortion.

State governments should cut off all state and local cooperation with the FBI, and they should do it immediately. No law requires it, the Constitution fully empowers you to not even return their calls. But there is no legitimate purpose now in treating them as an acceptable partner for anything.

@govandybeshear.bsky.social , our nation turns its lonely eyes to you. Make your Dad proud(er) and finish the job.

MMW: Trump, egged on by Putin, will insist that Russia be part of the 2026 World Juniors Tournament in Minneapolis. This will lead to a boycott by European nations and a diminished tournament.

Elected officials should use their resources to find, support, and disseminate stories like this across as many platforms and media spaces as they can. Too many want to run and get in front of the microphone themselves when they should be standing behind folks like Brian and letting him speak.

Look at that, @alexwinter.com TeslaTakedown appears to be gathering momentum and having an effect. In a poll last weekend, a 43% plurality of respondents said that Elon Musk makes it less likely they will consider buying a Tesla. www.filesforprogress.org/datasets/202...
