As someone who, through necessity, is spending a lot of time on LinkedIn these days, it's frightening how much of the vibe there is about embracing AI as this game-changing tech that you need to get on board with if you want to succeed.

Starting a new thread called: The oldest elected president in US history has lost his mind, and it's insane that the media isn't talking about it every day like it did with Joe Biden.

Thread...

The richest man in the world is getting a car sale on the White House lawn as Americans' 401ks plummet

Today, if you feel the need to make a big deal about why there isn't an International Men's day... Instead, ask yourself, if it was really so important for men to have that extra validation, why didn't you already know that International Men's Day has been around since 1992?

I can't stop laughing at this man I'm sorry. This is the kind of shit the biggest loser in the world would say to their girlfriend about buying her flowers on Valentine's Day once, and he's doing so in an argument that started because he called her a bitch

ppl getting angry at this but he's talking alliances and he's 100% right- you cannot trust a country where every 4 yrs the foreign policy does a complete 180 & tears up treaties and reneges on deals and withholds payments because some sheep farmers in Wisconsin think too many black women have jobs

this was always coming. Elon wants contracts for the things he broke. and sometimes he just wants to take other people's contracts.

Books designed to be read only by human eyes are different from books designed to be read by machines, which is why Google will tell you that the phrase “shake my booty” can be found in an 1863 English translation of Don Quixote.

I don't hate technology, or tools that simplify complex things. But it feels like the underlying pitch of all AI products at this point is essentially: "Is thinking too hard? Has doing stuff become a burden? Let AI do it for you!"

When did throwing tomatoes stop being a thing? They should bring that back.

“Now ah, ah’m jes’t a simple country capitalist, but ah believe that something is worth what someone will pay you for it, and if no one will pay you to take that truck, that truck, that truck is WORTHLESS suh.”

Future historians: "In 2024, Tesla's Cybertruck rose in the ranks to become one of the top 10 causes of schadenfreude in North America."
