Sounds like an excellent very sensible approach. But then you have a sensible mayor so that's to be expected.

Now show the bit at the point where the cycle path ends and becomes a shared use pavement. Poorly thought out and almost certainly going to cause accidents and conflict between pedestrians and cyclists

The presence of a nearby bus stop doesn't mean that you'll be able to get a reliable cheap bus. For many travel in Bristol means a connecting service. So that's double the cost of a single fare at least. Why not introduce city wide unlimited change tickets valid for 1 hour

It all comes down to the appalling public transport in Bristol which is mostly caused by bad road design. Make bus lanes dedicated to busses only and reliability will improve. Ban taxis from the lanes (which are mostly registered outside Bristol) and enforce the parking restrictions.

Over here in the UK we have a tradition of rich landed gentry types being complete bastards like your man Trump. We also had people like Tony Benn and Michael Foot who were great left wing politicians but also very posh. The message I guess is not all rich people are bad.

The argument that you must have nuclear weapons to deter attack does not stand up. Most European countries do not have nukes, are they less safe than the UK? If your strategy is to defend using Nuclear weapons then that implies you will use them. If this is the case you are planning for oblivion!
comment in response to post
We've since found out of course that they are also useless as a deterrent as any state with nukes can invade one without them just as Russia are doing. A return to diplomacy and non proliferation treaties is needed with the narrative switching back to disarmament.

Nukes are not a defence. Even that idiot Thatcher knew they were only useful as a deterrent. If you're willing to use nukes to defend your country then I'm sorry but you are the irrational lunatic.
comment in response to post
They are also a totally pointless waste of money as no one would and will ever use them again as it would guarantee mutual destruction.

The solution is out there

I'm amazed that Simone Biles bothered to reply to this non entity. Simone is probably the most talented gymnast of her generation and Gaines was a swimmer who was moderately successful in college competition (I had to Google who Gaines was)

Just watched it. Very one sided. She is clearly making fun of the genocidal Israeli government. She even mocks the illegal supremacist settlers who treat the Palestinians as sub humans. What a nerve eh.

He'll be apoplectic with rage if ever he travels by rail in the north of England, they even made the rail map look like a penis!

Great first three episodes but when are you going to do the one with the school trip to the Welsh mining village with the possessed dinner lady. Quite possibly Ruth Madoc's best role ever.

Elon musk truly is the Gerald Ratner of the 2020s.

Gaza is a ghetto just like the Warsaw ghetto. The freedom fighters in Gaza are the same as the men women and children who fought the Nazis in the ghetto uprising in 1943. Netanyahu and his murderous regime are the modern day equivalent of Hitler and the Nazis.

When the Nazis placed the Jews of Warsaw in a ghetto those brave men women and children revolted. The Warsaw uprising showed the Nazis the Jews were not passive victims. The Nazis responded with unbelievable brutality just as Israel are doing now. Netanyahu is a Nazi.

Yep but now we are at war with Eurasia again so we need him as a friend. We've always been at war with Eurasia. I love BB. Off to enjoy my increased chocolate rations.

The polling station in my part of Bristol was depressingly quiet.

An alternative view would be that Trump has created a chaotic environment to deliberately artificially create a bear marker so his family and friends can buy cheap and just wait for the inevitable bull market.

I've seen three of my close family die of cancer. All knew they were dying and all died under medical care. My mother died in pain in a hospital, my brother died in an over medicated state in a hospice and my father died with dignity at home. The answer to the problem is better end of life care

So Scunthorpe blast furnaces get saved and MP happens to be at risk from Reform UK whereas Port Talbot gets massive job cuts and can no longer produce virgin steel despite excellent transport links and location in a natural deep water harbour. Unfortunately Port Talbot is a safe Labour seat though.

The two mayors in the region have been a major reason why Bristol is in the state it's in.

Lol. He's an American president so they are booking him in for an open top car journey down Dealey Plaza soon.
