If there were already permits granted, they would have a hard time rescinding them without reason. Although that's never stopped these jackaloons before.

Not to mention the Big Ugly Bill includes new taxes on scholarship proceeds, making it nearly impossible for families of little means to support their kids who are smart enough to win scholarships, but too poor to cover the taxes on the proceeds. Infuriating.

I had a cat who chose to sleep inside a plastic grocery bag instead of the plush cat bed right beside it. The point is that they have choices, and if they choose your handmade afghan, that's a win!

You should be honored. Cats don't cuddle up just anywhere. 😻

I have been concerned about this ever since he took office. Remember how he tried to keep Covid infected cruise passengers from debarking so he could make low incidence claims? You can't trust ANYTHING coming out of this administration.

How much do you want to bet he shows up for this parade in some type of contrived uniform with medals on it?

I recall him stating that he would not take away vaccines from anyone, as well. Kids and pregnant women may still be able to get the COVID vaccines, but now insurance will not pay for them. This was the fine print.

When is someone finally going to explain to him that those seeking asylum are not FROM asylums looking for a new one.
And the rest of that? There is no explanation, other than Stage 9 crazy.

Wow. Raffishly brutal. ;) I wonder if cast and crew knew how awful it would be while they were filming it.

Paperback. Sheesh.
I'll blame my brain mush on the current condition of our govt.

Luke Purdue is a paperbook character name knockoff of Indiana Jones. What a complete and utter lack of imagination. Was their family cat's name Purdue?

Agreed. He would be better off in Jimmy Stewart roles instead of Errol Flynn roles. And he definitely isn't rakish.

I think we will find out -- when the history of this era is faithfully written -- that this abomination of a human is the originator of every disgusting policy and act coming out of this administration. He is the Evil Shadow Emperor.

Like Josh Hawley says, how can it be corruption if they are doing it right out in the open? Unbelievable.

Healthcare for women and children, daycare support, family leave, living wages, elder care. These are the strategies that support families and encourage family growth. Not one-time $5K payouts.

Of course, now he can archive from public view all of the incriminating and humiliating documents from both Trump administrations, some of which he has personal knowledge. (He can also fail to catalog anything that is incriminating and humiliating or held by the 🍊🤡 for personal possession.)

Not to mention the HUGE national security breach this would be -- embedded listening devices, hidden weapons caches for hijackers, tracking devices, explosives, poisons, and the list goes on and on. What could they possibly be thinking, for God's sake?
