I gotta say that his is very corporatist. When I worked for corporations in the 1990s and early 2000s, the bosses regularly fired people, even eliminated whole departments only to bring the department back 3-6 mos. down the road (with new employees, of course).

As a community college history instructor, we've been losing students to AI and other apps designed to do writing for people. And that auto-generated writing fucking sucks! Since 2014, students score lower and lower on writing assignments, but they don't stop using the apps. Sad.

As a college kid in the 1990s, I worked construction 3 days per week during the semester and full time+ in the summers. Listening to a Joe Rogan show today sounds like many of the folks you'd find on the construction site. Reflexively right wing with lots of innuendo as evidence.
