Awesome pics, looks like you had a great time. I love solo trips on my bike, whether they are just a day or more.

Awesome pictures, I love that road (A82) - but then again I love any road in Scotland!

What a route! I just spent a week on Scotland’s West Coast, visiting Oban, Fort William, and the Isle of Skye—and loved every single minute.

I love Wales! Living in the Midlands means it's just a hop, skip, and a dragon's sneeze away. Mid and North Wales are basically my personal playgrounds, with the best places to visit and roads so good, they probably made even the Romans jealous.

Looking forward to it, loved the other geek test video's.

Just do it, you won't be disappointed.

Same here, I actually enjoy riding in the rain, as long as I'm warm and dry #rukka but won't ride in the snow or ice.

I couldn't agree more—they're atrocious! I slapped a Denali SoundBomb onto my BMW R1200GS, and now I get a little guilty pleasure watching people leap like startled cats when I honk. But honestly, we shouldn’t have to resort to aftermarket artillery just to replace those squeaky OE horns

I'm loving the look of the Voge DS900X, it's on my list of potential new bikes for next year.

Great write up and very helpful. (as always) I'm looking at replacing my Neotec 2 with either the Neotec 3 or the Schuberth C5 and this has really helped. Thank you.

I try to ride all year round but always hate getting my bike covered in crap, so I bought a second bike, a 'winter hack' the problem I have now is that I don't want to get my winter hack covered in winter crap and they are both tucked up under covers in the garage! Maybe I need a third bike......

Hey, I love Scotland and visit as often as possible. Just finished a week touring around the West Coast and Skye, albeit in our campervan. I often stay in Moffat when on my GS.
