1. Super Mario Odyssey: It couldnāt be anything else could it? Platforming perfection, a game that never fails to put a smile on my face. Maybe BotW was the system seller, but this is what made me fall in love with the system.

2. Trails from Zero to Azure: Ok, so this is technically two games, but this port (along with PC and PS4) was the first version available in the west, and of the console versions this is the best way to play. Crossbell is a uniquely realised place and the SSS are an awesome bunch of characters.

3. Astral Chain: The best game Platinum has ever made? If it isnāt, itās close. Completely unexpected, when this came out it felt like we could get anything on Switch. Absolutely dying for a sequel.

4. Kirby and the Forgotten Land: It took him a long time to finally join the 3d party but oh man, was it ever worth the wait. Funny, surprising, with a great sense of exploration, Kirby continues to be one of the strongest franchises Nintendo has.

5. Xenoblade Chronicles 2: A bit of a Marmite entry in the series, but Iām firmly in the camp that adores it, and it proved that the games for the console didnāt have to be limited in scope just because of its hybrid nature.

6. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom: The best Zelda game on the system. I said what I said and I wonāt be taking questions.

7. Super Mario Wonder: After years of seeming pushing 2d Mario into an increasingly bland box, Nintendo proved why everyone loves them so much. Inventive, accessible, gorgeous.

8. Metroid Dread: Mercury Steam brought the never ending rumor to life in spectacular fashion. Well worth the wait, and a great end to the original series story up to this point.

9. Live A Live: A fantastic remake of a timeless jrpg classic, and one that hadnāt had a release in the west until this came out. So glad thereās a great accessible way to enjoy it finally.

10. PokĆ©mon Shield: Not a game without flaws but I love the franchise, and I also love routes, towns, enterable buildings, being able to change your characters outfits and I much prefer the art direction of this one to Legends or SV. My favourite PokĆ©mon game on the console and itās not even close.

This is really cool news! I do not in any way wish to sound ungrateful, Iām just curious, is there any chance the Myst and Riven remakes would end up hitting the ps5 as well?

Iād go as far to say Last Crusade is better than Fate of Atlantis. FoA falls apart for me at the end, the Atlantis section is basically rubbish. The rest of the game is fantastic donāt get me wrong, but I hate that last section so much š¤£
