Where do we put the murderers if not in a prison?

You ask a thoughtful question, I just know how I want to treat people and how I hope I get treated back, everyone has their bad days. I’ve had bad interactions with all races and religions, it doesn’t mean they’re all bad. I want to believe in hope.

Well, I mean if that’s how you want to choose to live your life, that’s definitely a way to go about it. I don’t know what happened in your life, but I hope that I don’t lose empathy for all people or ever believe we are not all equal. I wish you well, and your doggo is adorable.

That’s probably the most childish thing I’ve heard today. If you don’t care about people, you can’t talk to people, if you can’t talk to people you can’t discuss things with people and if you can’t have intelligent conversations with people, you can’t change minds. Everyone matters.

I think the people in North Carolina and surrounding areas would tell you that they feel there are not competent people in charge right now.

Politics makes me laugh and I can’t take it seriously. Considering the questions surrounding this POTUS the last four years, it’s funny to see Democrats pull an uno reverse towards Donald Trump by implying he’s not President-Elect.

That looks awesome!!

If he would have, then there would have been a civil war and many people would have died, but that didn’t happen and Biden became President.

Ok, I think I understand. The Constitution is the framing of the government, then, separate from those are criminal and civil statues. The Constitution protects the people’s rights from the government and criminal and civil statues protect against law breakers, usually.

We live in America, under a constitutional republic, the same things that prevented Trump from staying in power Jan 6, 2021 are going to be the same things that prevent people from getting locked up Willy nilly by a would be dictator.

You’re not going to get a grand jury to indict Schiff and Cheney on treason, they didn’t even come close to warrant such a charge. The USA is not Russia. Don’t buy into the hysteria, that’s for the followers of Alex Jones to do.
comment in response to

First things first, what do you (as a reasonable person) think that Liz Cheney and Adam Schiff would even be charged with? You can’t just indict people over nothing and there needs to be a crime.
comment in response to

Sure, but all that can be true without having to pardon people that did nothing wrong. Pardons presume something illegal bad been done, none of those people did anything wrong.

Nope, I’m being direct.

So, why do critics need premature pardons for doing nothing wrong? We all understand that anything @joebidenbsky.bsky.social does is going to justify anything Drumpf does in the future. This stuff is wild…

Shit, I’d be pardoning my son, brother, sister, wife and anyone else I liked and maybe some people I didn’t like.

Ok, so your statement is exceptionally telling, explain to me what Constitutional amendment was broken? The conversation in good faith requires a clear understanding of how government works and unfortunately there seems to be lack of understanding roles and responsibilities on your part.
comment in response to

In America we live in a constitutional republic where all private citizens can reach out to their representatives to speak out for or against legislation being considered. So, the 1st Amendment aka the freedom of speech grants that right. I don’t think you quite understand how government works.

Trump cannot abridge anyone’s constitutional rights because he has no proper to prosecute people, Biden had all the power since the Justice Department falls under the Executive branch. I’m beginning to think people get all crazy because they don’t know how government works.
comment in response to
post
No, that’s not how any of that works, especially with how the US Constitution works, Trump couldn’t have just deployed US Armed Forces for power. This stuff is almost as bad as the q-anon people that think Biden isn’t really Biden.

Ok, what was cruel and unusual punishment was put onto Hunter Biden? He wasn’t even sentenced yet to claim that…

Respectfully, you’re wrong. Our country survived a civil war and there were no assets in place to forcibly take over the capitol. The insurrectionists had zero logistical support, no weapons and would have been dispatched easily if it turned into Die Hard on Capitol Hill.

There was zero chance the government was going to be overthrown on Jan 6th and I think it’s odd that “people who love the constitution” don’t understand how the constitution works.

There is a duality of ideas and there are people who believe the opposite of you and have just as strong of conviction, that’s why I’m saying it’s the same coin. Democracy will always survive. I just know I’m retired and I’m not participating in Civil War 2.

It’s all duality man, both sides will create nuance and context exceptions and both sides will rail at the corruption.

I’m sorry for your loss, but I’m happy you had the opportunity to experience the love of Sherman, he looks like the goodest boy! Tell your Frenchie I said hi and give him a treat and a pet!

Mostly right, except a crimes actually had to be committed in order for a jury of his peers to find Hunter guilty. I’d be handing out pardons like Oprah hands out cars, except to P Diddy, fuck that guy.

Cute dog, also, I don’t care who Biden pardons, I’d be giving passes to my son, daughter and anyone that followed me on all my socials.

On God, I’d pardon all you degenerates that follow me on TikTok, Twitch and Twitter if I ever became President. Republicans, Democrats, and any other party affiliation all catching a get out of jail card from me. Except for Diddy, fuck that guy.

Just remember, it was Harry Reid that introduced the “nuclear option” to appoint judges. Every time someone breaks precedent in government, the other side is sure to do it when they get into power. Don’t get rid of that filibuster, EVER, it will come back around and bit people in the ass.

Just remember, anything that you find acceptable for one person to do, you can’t be upset if someone you don’t like comes into power and does the same thing.
