Barbarian durge run going well. Made it to the Mountain Pass at level 5. Going embrace the urge, so running with Astarion, Shart, and Gale until I get Minthara in Act 2. Hopefully the githyanki don't fuck me up too bad.

I did this with Romancing SaGa 2. I had a ton of fun with the game on the highest starting difficulty, but the final boss felt like enough bullshit that I was fine dropping the difficulty to beat it.

My own hubris got the better of me. I should have went to the goblin camp instead of heading to the underdark. Spore druid run is done, now thinking of what class I should play next.

I've had to run from a few fights, including Shadowhearts great escape from the Hag but we're trecking along splendidly on our way to the goblin camp to meet Priestess Gut!

I was playing Adam Warlock one quickplay game and my team was steamrolling because their Psylock was more focused on spawn camping me than actually trying to stall the point. Was absolutely miserable and I haven't played since.

Hmmm... I think I lean more towards B but not strongly. I think the game is better when your character has ties to the world (See BG3 Tav vs Durge) but there was also some disconnect in the game because your companions were the liaisons, even to the faction Rook was a member of.

I've seen a lot of people say that it felt underbaked because it switched from live service to single player halfway through development or so. So translated into corporate speak, that OBVIOUSLY means the gamers wanted it to be live service instead of just given enough development time.

I haaaaate spellcasting in pathfinder. My character in my last campaign was a druid and I legitimately never felt useful until he died at level 11 and I wouldn't let me group res me.
