That’s fine. If you get bored and want a quick read (it’s only 46k words) the offer will remain open.
Good luck with the movie!

I’m not Canadian but I wrote a novel with a Canadian protagonist (from an alternate history). It is urban fantasy with horror vibes. I’ve been inviting Canadians to read it to get reviews. Totally free. Would you be interested in taking a look?

This might be the only epic fantasy in existence where a discussion of ass fuckery matters to the plot as much as a riddle contest.

I haven’t counted. But last night drafting “The Many Deaths of the Blind Mage” I introduced a character who considers swearing a competitive sport. And that is immediately after a chapter in which 2 characters compare profanity in their respective languages. I am proud to say it advanced the plot

This looks delicious and all but I have an idea. Hear me out! A travel guide to a sci fi universe. Sections featuring a different region is released every other month paired with a candy with flavors from the featured region. I’m doing this. Would love to have you review the candy. Interested?

What is the premise of this podcast? And why scripted over unscripted?

I wasn’t really serious. A good rule of thumb is to try to read everything I post in a dry, sarcastic voice. 2/3 of the time that’s exactly what’s intended!

This is an amazing piece. Could you maybe do a second mood piece today? Maybe one with of a fiery inferno to capture what’s going on in California?

Well… remember that in Shakespeare’s day the proceeds from the opening night of a play went to the house, the 2nd night to the playwright and 3rd to the actors. Shakespeare wrote and acted in his plays, then bought his own theatre so he would get a cut of everything. Shakespeare did the math!
