Now that’s a beautiful first layer. Maintenance worked wonders.

I’m not a fan of the dice. They HURT! And are not easy to pick up.

That was pretty fun and exciting! In the end it came down to the first person to roll a 1. (I won)

AI has taught me that saying something with confidence is always more believable than saying something true.

I expect the next comic to be Sluggo turning around to pickup the Lucky Penny. Get all the money plus some luck.

Next up: trying to use my NOR-built AND gate to control the 555. Idea is, if I pull the signal high, the LEDs blink. If it’s low, they stay on. Hoping this lets me switch between flashing and steady with one input.

The truth is, I’m not giving games my full focus. Maybe 5% of my attention goes to the game. The rest is scattered.

It got me thinking about when I was younger and played video games. I had one screen, one game. I was totally present. I had so much fun and those memories still feel rich and real.

But it also gave me failed circuit diagrams, misidentified timing capacitors, and formulas that didn’t apply to my case. LLMs are useful tools, but they’re a long way from replacing a real teacher.

I ended up figuring it out by reading datasheets, beginner electronics websites, and a lot of trial and error. To be fair, ChatGPT was helpful for explaining datasheet terms and identifying which transistors in my kit matched my needs.
