As I recall, Fratz blasts rapid fire magic missiles. The effects of making it a Power Word is obscure to me.

B. C. Reference?
My first suspicion was that it was a _Zotz!_ (www.goodreads.com/book/show/25...) reference, but because it makes floating letters saying "Zot!" above the target's head for one melee round, I think it's a Batman joke.

Yeah, you should! Flo can coordinate the descriptions, such as they exist, but sometimes they're pretty sparse. For example, first level Wish is "Infallible."

Spells such as:
Dismal Itch
VISIBLE Stalker
Superchicken
Witch Fire Web
Past Clairvoyance
Charm Crustacean
Bluff and Antibluff
Mold Cone
First level "Wish"
All of these speak to the way the game was played

If you click through to the older post, Matrices of Blorbiness, I hope I managed to describe the "pros" of this style honestly

Yeah, I think this is a really elegantly summed up explanation of what excites people about improv-heavy, narration-sharing games. And a good defense for them! It took me a while to find out that this style wasn't *for me*, but I don't think they're *abstractly bad* +

I'd never run a campaign-length adventure by the book. Too much of a tinkerer. But I would use published adventures in a campaign. So that's part of assembling my tools.
